Carlo, Max, Ben, Rina & Chopsy – 5 month old male and female Foxhound cross Labradors
We have looking for homes for 5 Labrador cross Foxhound their birthday is 9th March when they will be one…All five of them were born at a Riding Stables. They had a lovely life would spend their days in the yard meeting the riders and children that came for lessons – chasing the feral cats off the property and spend the evenings in the kitchen by the aga before retiring to the barn for sleep time.

This life has come to an end unfortunately at the stables due to it having to close. Their owner is heart broken but can only take 1 dog to the rented accommodation so has taken their mother she has promised to have her spayed. These dogs have been wonderfully looked after and are in fantastic condition. They are very well socialized with adults, children and other dogs big and small as well as horses.

They are actually very gentle affectionate dogs and seem to have more of the lab character although they look more hound they are not noisy like hounds can be. They seem to be clean in the house but will have to be reinforced as at bed time they would sleep in a barn..

With regards to exercise they have always been exercised in an enclosed yard/paddock so will need leading training and recall. They love to play with each other and the other dogs but are equally happy to chill once they have had their run – we would say they quite like being lazy as long as they have had their exercise.

All in all beautiful gentle dogs who will make lovely pets – they are going to prefer a home where there are other dogs in it with a couple of lovely long walks a day and plenty of chill time on the sofa.

Meet lovely Scamp. He has been a very much loved dog by his owner. He has been well brought up and taught his manners – he loves everybody and is great with the other dogs a very sweet dog… He is quite sad at the moment as his owner has had no choice but to rehome him – he was unemployed for long time and has been offered a job which means he will be working away a lot and although it has broken his heart he knows its just not fair on this little fellow and thinks he could have a better life with another family.
Benjy – 12 month old male Whippet Cross
Meet stunning Benjy – 12 months old – his owners were unable to look after him so he was given up to rescue – he has now done his assessment period – Benjy is a whippet cross greyhound more small greyhound size – he has lived with children in the past – he loves other dogs and playing with them and we will only home where there is another dog – he is extremely affectionate and loving and wants to be with you – he would not cope somewhere where he was left hours on his own so he needs a home with someone around a lot of the time – he is house trained and good in the car and his favorite hobby is chasing the squirrels in the woods.

Buddy – 12 month old male Labrador
Meet our lovely Buddy only 12 months old – poor Buddy has lived a sheltered life with an owner who had poor health and dementia who has now been taken into a home… This has you can imagine has affected Buddy – he is going to need a calm quiet house with no young children he has had no experience of them. He needs a calm loving owner who will include him in their life and be around for him – when he first came in he was extremely anxious and nervous this is all due to his upbringing and has little training – once he knows you and trusts you he is the most loyal loving dog, he is good with other dogs.
Buddy is in a rescue in South Wales – he will be neutered, vaccinated and mirco chipped before he leaves us….

Meet our lovely Jess a whippet cross collie – she 6 years old and was owned by an older couple – where they lived in the forest Jess would take off to chase the wild boar and they felt they could not cope as there was no where else to walk her!! – Since having Jess in rescue she is actually a very easy dog – as long as she gets proper exercise – she has been out down the country park and she loves running around but once homes she is very quiet around the house and will seek somewhere soft and warm to sleep and is happy snoozing the rest of the day. She is a lovely friendly girl who gets on well with the other dogs but could easily live as an only dog….

Scamp, Bingo, Rover, Jack, Megan, Tansy & Charlie – 8 week old male and female Boxer cross German Shepherd Dogs
Looking for forever homes we have 8 – 8 week old Boxer cross German Shepherd Dog Puppies the result of an accidental mating at a breeding kennel. These puppies have been well looked after and are well socialised and happy little souls. They are seeing the vet today for a check up and first vaccinations and micro chips. They will also be fleaed and wormed.

We are looking for loving homes for these puppies and we will not home to full time workers. You must also have a secure garden..

Dottie – 3 year old female Collie Cross
Approximately 3 years old, Dottie is a delightful collie cross, she is a very outgoing sociable dog very good with people, she has been a regular visitor to a local nursing home. She adores other dogs & wants to play with everything and has a lovely temperament she would even be suitable to live with a cat. Poor Dottie has already had 2 litters & was a wonderful mum, but she really needs to have the chance to finish being a puppy herself so can seem younger than her actual age.
Dottie needs to be at least one other dog, & he or she needs to be playful like her. She walks reasonably well on a leash.& her basic obedience is pretty good. Dottie is very agile & will need a minimum of 6 ft fencing, because she is not happy being left home when her owners go out, & may look to escape if she becomes bored.

Nebo – 6-12 month old male Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross Labrador
Meet young Nebo under a year Staffy cross Lab boy unclaimed from the dog pound. Nebo is a lovely happy boy – great with other dogs and people – he has no malice in him at all – he is extremely bouncy but surprisly walks not too bad on the lead – he loves playing with the other dogs at the rescue sanctuary – he is looking for his forever home he will be neutured and vaccinated before he leaves -

Probably would be better without very young children as he could knock them over as he is a happy bouncy boy….

Meet Coco, our lovely puppy lab owned by an elderly couple who could not cope with him. We do not think he has even been let off the lead well. Coco has been loved but is how you can imagine a dog which has had very little exercise or training – when he was first let off the lead he did not know what do with himself he kept running around and coming back as if to say LOOK I am off the lead he was so excited and happy he really is a lovely dog. Coco is looking for an active home without little children as he will knock them over someone to put some time and training into him and not a full time worker – Coco is extremely well bred and although we will not passing on any papers both his parents were hip, eye & elbow tested.
Trevor and Simon – 12 month old male Retrievers
Please say a big hello to Trevor and a gentle hello to Simon are approx 12 month old brothers that are inseparable. They were hand in at the dog pound no longer wanted and discarded. Trevor is more like a Retriever he is the more confident one of the two. Simon is the more nervous and will not go anywhere without Trevor at the sanctuary where they are staying they stick together, eat together and sleep together they really do love each other and it would especially break Trevor’s heart to separate them so we are going to try our best to find them a home together before we try and home them separately.
These two do not have a bad bone in their bodies. They are very sweet and loving, great with other dogs, they seem to be house trained but we cannot promise they may need a bit of work to begin with. They have also not had much training and are not great on the lead as they are not used to one, they are both beautiful stunning dogs with the most lovely natures and they need somebody with time and patience to turn them into the dogs they should have been by now and give them the life they should have had.
