Billy – 7 year old male Terrier Cross

Hi, my name is Billie and i’m a 7 year old Terrier Cross.  I’ve got lovely fuzzy white fur which is just begging to be stroked. I’ve been here for a long time and I just don’t understand why. I try my best to smile at all the people who come to see me, but I never get picked.

Maybe 2009 will be my lucky year and I’ll soon be curled up with a lovely new owner who can treat me to the quiet life I’m craving. Please choose me, I’ll make you very happy! I’m great with other dogs but haven’t yet been tested around the feline furries. I have been neutered and microchipped and raring to go!

Merlin – 2 year old male Border Collie

My name is Merlin and I love attention… even more than toys and treats! I am a lovely Collie who was brought in for rehoming because my family couldn’t look after me any more, not because I am any trouble. I love cuddles and I don’t get enough in kennels, there are too many other dogs who need them too. I might need a bit of training on the lead, I do get a bit excited,  but I love walks you see. But not as much as cuddles. Come and get me soon, please……..

Alfred – 10 year old male Labrador Cross

Hello there, my name is Alfred, but you can call be Alfie for short. I am an old boy who needs a lovely retirement home so I can curl up by the fire. That’s where I should be. I don’t like it here, I used to have a home. I was found as a stray and nobody came to collect me. Everyone here says I would make someone a lovely pet and would suit any family really or an older person, I don’t mind at all. I would probably be better with older kids as I am getting a bit old now to play all the time with tiddlers, but I do like to play and walk. Let me curl up by the fire this Christmas with you and I will be your faithful friend forever.

Sam – 6 year old male Cross-Breed

Hello, my name is Sam, but at the moment I am sad Sam. I am quite a nervous boy but am great once you get to know me. I make the kennel staff laugh because I have learned to open the shutter on my kennel myself. I  love to walk and play and my dream is for someone lovely to come and rescue me from here and take me on lovely country walks. That would be just smashing. I would suit a quieter family I think, or maybe older people. Then I will be happy Sam instead.

Bear – 4 year old male Newfoundland Cross

Well hello there. I am a big friendly guy who thinks that Bear is a dumb name, so am looking for somebody to come and call me something a little better (just because i look a bit like a bear) I am sure you can see from my pictures I am extremely handsome and kinda on the large side.

I need lots of excersise and I LURV my squeaky toys. I am quite happy to meet lots of new people – that kind of thing doesn’t faze me at all. Could I be your new best friend?? I hope so – just come visit and you won’t be able to miss me
