Cain - 5 year old male Staffordshire Bull Terrier Cross
Hello everyone, my name is Cain and I am 5 year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross. I am super friendly and extremely obedient. I am a bit of a cross between superman and batman, I’ll be dashing around making sure everything is okay and appear right back by your side as if magic making sure you are okay and well. I have a very caring nature and my manners are magnificent.
I take treats very nicely from your hand and know lots of different commands. I ended up at the Dogs Home through no fault of my own, my previous owners didn’t have enough time to spend with me. This made me very sad and I am desperately seeking some new owners who I can care for and who will love me forever. I am extremely good with children and am tolerant of other dogs. Hello everybody, my name is Ben and I am a 9 year old medium sized cross-breed male. Now I know 9 may sound old to some, but if you met me and didn’t know my age you would think I was 2. I am a big pup at heart and boy does it show! I do have a confession to make though, I am a stick-a-holic, I am addicted to sticks. I am overwhelmingly well behaved and so obedient, I’d give Lassie a run for his money.
I know my name and come back to you when I’m called, I also know numerous commands. As you may have gathered, my favourite hobby is stick chasing and chewing, I will get you to play as well by barking at you till you join in (not so much with the chewing part, I’m happy enough to let you just throw it for me). I am extremely affectionate and have the best manners a dog could ever hope for. I am not asking much from life, just someone to love me and appreciate my stick fetish.
I have large outbursts of energy and love to run about. I am house-trained and good with children and other dogs. I remain indifferent toward cats. I will make an ideal companion for any household (providing they don’t live in a log cabin as the temptation to chew through the walls would be too great). Hello everyone, my name is Jacko and I am a 4 year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross male. I am very obedient and know lots of commands such as “sit” and “speak”. I am rather intelligent and will come to you when you call me providing there is a tasty treat near by. I am extremely handsome and as you can see from my photo I’m a bit of a poser. My favourite features are my sticky up ears, the white blaze down my face and my extremely curly tail.
I am sociable with both people and dogs (as long as other dogs don’t pick on me) and love to play games and go for walks. I have lots of energy and as I am clever would benefit from activities such as agility and flyball if you are looking for a dog to fun stuff with. I adore attention and love interacting with people, especially when they offer me a treat! Anyone trying to win me over can wave a boneo in front of my face and I’m their friend for life!
I have not had any security in my life and my past owners never really cared about me, I am desperate to show someone how deserving I am of being loved and what a FANTASTIC pet I would be if you decide to adopt me. Hello everybody, my name is Bobby and I am one of the gentlest dogs you will ever meet. I am a German Shepherd in my senior years at 9 years old but have tons and tons of life in me yet, don’t let the grey hairs fool you! I am such a sweetie pie and love to be in the company of people. I am not asking much from life, just someone to love me and who I can love in return. I am becoming very depressed in my kennel as everyone seems to walk straight past without even giving me a glance.
Outside my kennel I am a completely different dog, I spring to life and take great interest in everything around me. I love to roll around on the grass and give myself a good back massage and will gently play with you whilst I do so. I take treats very softly and am not a greedy dog. My temperament and personality are wonderful and I will make a very faithful companion. All I need is a little love and TLC to make my eyes shine once more and my tail wag again.

Hello everyone, my name is Candy and I am a very sad and lonely little girl. I am a 4 year old female Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross who is quite nervous and insecure and needs lots of love and TLC. I have had little training and no love in the past few years of my life and this is evident in the way I act around people. The staff at the Dogs’ Home have been working with me and I am slowly starting to come out of my shell.
I am not used to being fussed over or paid attention to and I find being stroked a strange activity but I am getting rather fond of it! The more time I spend around people the more I learn how to interact and my next goal in life is to find someone to love and cherish me. The sad fact is that I really am as sweet as my name and despite my unfortunate start to life remain positive and will make a superb companion and amazing new best friend.
I am very pretty and am trying desperately to form a secure bond with anyone who offers me treats! I adore any treat and this is going to make it very easy for me to be trained in the future. I am really looking forward to the day someone empathises with my sob story and will take me home with them and love me like I deserve. Please give me a chance, I wont let you down. Hello everyone, my name is Carrie and I am a 9 year old medium sized cross-breed. I am a very good girl and one of the cleverest dogs you could wish to meet. I can open lots of contraptions including fridges, boxes, doors etc. I am extremely food motivated and will perform numerous tricks to make you give in and share your food.
I am extremely energetic for my age and in a very fit condition. I have lots of energy and love to run round burning it off. On the whole I am a very happy dog that just wants to love and be loved. I have adoration for life and live for adventure but I am also happy to snuggle up by your side and relax in your company.
I am house-trained and am happy to be left for a short time as long as you leave me something fun to do like a treat ball, that is if you don’t want to come back to an empty fridge! I am extremely entertaining and can be quite the comedian and always look on the bright side of life.
All I am looking for is one chance to prove to you why I am the dog you have been waiting for, a semi-perfect pooch! I am ideal for any family that doesn’t take life too seriously and that will share some laughs and may be their couch and dinner. All my love and sloppy kisses, Carrie x

Hello everybody, my name is Bruno and just like my size I am larger than life. I am a 6 year old Cross Breed and very interactive. I am house-trained and incredibly friendly with both people and other dogs. At first when I am taken for a walk the staff members said walking me was like walking a rhinoceros, but after a good run round I walk very nicely on the lead.
My favourite game to play is tag and I will race round the field at the Home 1000 miles per hour, pretend I am heading straight for you then in the last second change direction. This slightly scared my carers but we all saw the funny side of it in the end! As you can see I have a HUGE character and a humorous personality and love to make you laugh, and am also a very gently boy that will take teats very nicely from your hand.
Despite being clumsier than an ox, I have very good manners but my new owner will have to be very firm (but kind) as sometimes I suffer from selective hearing. I am extremely sociable with people and love making up silly little games to play with you. I will make a SUPERB addition to any house hold, I am worth my weight in gold (40 kg!) and whilst out on foster was described as “an outstanding dog who doesn’t have a bad bone in his body”.

Hello everyone, my name is Noble and I am a 2 year old male Rottweiler cross. As my name suggests, I am a noble fellow, very calm and composed. I am highly intelligent and have a splendid learning capacity. I am not the giddy sort and when allowed to run freely off lead I focus solely on you and prefer to be by your side. I am very loyal and faithful and respond quickly to commands (it also helps that I like my treats and biscuits!).

Hello everybody, my name is Patch and I am a 6 year old medium sized cross-breed. I am a little boy with a big heart. I can be quite independent when I want to be but my favourite thing in the world is snuggling up to you and giving kisses. I am house-trained and good with children. I am a bit of an adventure seeker and this has caused a few problems as I like to take myself out for one every now and again!
I am quite good at jumping fences! Maybe you could channel my energy in a more positive way like taking me for a long walk or doing fly ball with me, we would have so much fun!!! I am a soppy fellow and take treats very nicely from your hand. I hate being stuck in my kennel with no one to love.
