Robbie – 1 year old male German Shepherd Dog
This very handsome dog is Robbie, he is a 1 year old male German Shepherd Dog. He came into the centre as a stray so unfortunately we have no information of his history. Robbie is a very special and loving dog who will make either the right person or family a brilliant companion. He is only able to live with older children as he is still quite puppy like in his behaviours which are exaggerated by his size. He is unsuitable to live with cats as he will chase them. Robbie would be best to suited to a home with no other dogs due to him needing one on one training and attention.

Chunky – 3 year old male Cross-Breed
This handsome boy is Chunky, he is a 3 year old medium sized Cross-Breed, with a little Alaskan Malamute, German Shepherd and Collie in the mix. Chunky can be timid initially & does take quite a while before you can gain his trust, but once this is achieved he is incredibly loving & loyal. Due to this, his new family will need to visit whilst he is at the centre a few times whilst his confidence builds up. Chunky is good with other dogs so is able to live with another one. He is unsuitable to live with cats. Chunky is suitable to live in an adult home only.

Anna – 9 year old female Yorkshire Terrier Cross
This lovely lady is Anna, she is a Yorkshire terrier Cross approximately 9 years old. She came into the centre as a stray so unfortunately we have no information about her previous home life. Anna is looking for a quiet home where someone can give her the time and patience she needs. Anna can be timid with new people and she will take a bit of time to show her personality and as she has been a little aloof at since her arrival at the centre. She is unsuitable to live with cats as she will chase them. Anna is best suited as an only dog. She is able to live with calm sensible children aged 14 years and over.
Mole – 1 year old male Lurcher Cross
Mole is a black 1 year old male Lurcher Cross. Mole came to us as a stray via another charity so unfortunately we have no previous history about him. Mole would prefer to be the only dog in the household. He would prefer not to live with cats as he is quite fixated on them. He would also prefer not to live with small animals, particularly birds, as he loves to chase them. Mole is incredibly affectionate & loves having a fuss. He would benefit from attending training classes to help him brush up on his commands. Mole should be ok to live with children aged 12 or older who are calm, sensible and used to dogs.
Kia – 3 year old female Staffordshire Bull Terrier Cross
This gorgeous girl is Kia, she is a female Staffordshire Bull Terrier Cross born who is 3 years old. Kia is incredibly affectionate and friendly with all the people she meets. She loves having company and is a nice and active girl. Kia would prefer to be the only pet in the household. Kia should be ok to live with children aged 12 and older who are confident and used to dogs. Ideally we are looking for a dog experienced home for Kia but this is NOT necessarily a requirement.
Tinkerbell – 3 year old female Lurcher Cross
Tinkerbell is a black and white 3 year old female Lurcher Cross. Tinkerbell loves lots of attention and cuddles with everyone she meets if she can.
Tinkerbell has had a few problems with other dogs previously, so she needs to be the only pet in the household where she can have all the fuss & attention she likes. She is ok to live with children aged 12 or older who are used to dogs. Tinkerbell would love a home where they will be around for much of the day to keep her company & frolic with her. She is a nice calm girl who loves the company of people, so someone who works part time or from home would be ideally suited.

This handsome boy is Smithy, he is a 2 year old male English Bull Terrier Cross. Smithy came to us via another rescue centre as a stray, so unfortunately we have no previous history about him. He responds well to calm consistent handling and his training is progressing well. Smithy will however need experienced dog owners to enable him to reach his full potential. He is suitable to live with older mature children that are able to adapt to his training requirements. He is currently unsuitable to live with cats as he is too fixated on them at present. He is also being assessed around other dogs daily.
Poppy – 5 year old female Fell Terrier Cross
Poppy is a beautiful female tan and white 5 year old female Fell Terrier Cross. Poppy came to the centre as a stray so unfortunately we have no previous history about her. Poppy is wary of strangers initially (she is improving daily with this!!) but once she knows & trusts you she is your true friend for life!!!

Due to her nervousness of new people, the home we are seeking for this princess is a quiet home with children aged 16 & over who are calm, confident & used to dogs. Poppy strikes the perfect balance between lap dog & active go-getter terrier. She would prefer to be the only pet in the household so her new family can concentrate on her & her training.
Archie – 6 year old male Boston Terrier Cross
This handsome chap is Archie, he is a 6 year old male Boston Terrier Cross. Archie is incredibly affectionate & loving & enjoys doing plenty of exercise. He would prefer not to live with cats as he will chase them. He is ok to live with children aged 6 and older who are confident and used to dogs.

Archie is a very sensitive boy & is incredibly loyal.

Marley is a 1 year old male Cross-Breed with some hound and mastiff in him. Marley came to the centre as a stray so unfortunately we have no previous history if he has lived in a home or not. Marley would be best suited as an only dog although we would consider homing him with another dog, providing the home has sufficient experience with adolescent dogs.
He is suitable to live with “hands on” confident children aged 14 years and over who are used to handling dogs and are willing to participate in his training. Marley is super affectionate & loves a good back scratch. He will need to attend training classes on a regular basis as he needs to learn how to control his excitement with both dogs & people. He knows most basic commands but sometimes chooses to forget them just to test his handler!!
