Unless advised otherwise all dogs are coming from Spain and will have been vet checked, sterilised/castrated, micro-chipped, vaccinated, blood tests done, received the parasite treatment and have a pet passport which are the requirements for entering the UK.
Pingo – 2 year old male Labrador Cross
Pingo is a Labrador-Mix, male, born about 2008. He measures about 50 cms in height and weighs about 20 kg.
He was found wandering the streets in Southern Spain and given to Kim, who runs Kim’s Animal Rescue at the Costa del Sol , at the weekly car boot/market which Kim does to raise some money for the rescue. He is a lovely dog who gets on well with all other dogs and would make a great companion, but he has become food dominant since we last saw him in Spain in March and should therefore be placed as the only dog.
Pingo is still at a rescue centre in Southern Spain, but preparations to travel to the UK can be arranged as soon as we have a home for him. Pingo has been at the rescue for more than 7 months (which is not unusual as many dogs are at the rescue for a year or more – very hard to home dogs in Spain), but Pingo urgently needs to get out of the kennel environment.

Hector is a 4 year old male Pointer. Hector is home tested and is fine with other dogs, but unknown how he is ith cats. He was found abandoned with broken foot and tail. His tail is partly amputated and foot slightly deformed due to length of time with no treatment, but Hector is fit and well and he walks perfectly fine, Hector is adorable, gentle, calm and very affectionate. Currently at a rescue centre in Southern Spain, but coming to the UK in June.
Laila – 1 1/2 year old female Spanish Waterdog
Laila is a 1 1/2 year old female Spanish Waterdog. Laila loves company and cuddles. She is a lovely and adorable girl. Laila gets on well with other dogs, but it is not known how she is with cats. A recent blood test has revealed that Laila has Leishmania and she is now receiving treatment. She comes from a rescue that had to close due to the rescue manager returning to the UK and is now staying at another rescue centre in Southern Spain, but coming to the UK in June.
Gypsy – 1 year old female Cross-Breed
Gypsy is a 21-months old female Cross-Breed. She was rescued off the Gypsies (Gitanos) in Spain by an English lady who has been caring for her but had to return to the UK and leave Gypsy at the rescue center.
We arranged for Gypsy to get out of the kennels in Spain and come over to the UK in June. Gypsy is a really nice girl. A blood test has revealed that Gypsy has Leishmania, an incurable ailment. She is now receiving treatment and shows no clinical or physical signs of the Leishmaniasis, but will need tablets for the rest of her life.
Buster – 8 year old male Cross-Breed
Buster is a 8 year old male Cross-Breed who is looking for a new home. Height 35 cms, a bit overweight! Buster is very quiet, originally came to the rescue with Enrique, another dog, from a family returning to the UK. Would definitely suit an older person or couple. Currently at a rescue centre in Southern Spain, but coming to the UK in June.
Enrique – 7-8 year old male German Shepherd Dog
Enrique is a 7-8 year old male German Shepherd Dog. Enrique is a very nice dog, loves to be the boss with other dogs, but originally came to the rescue with Buster, another dog, so no problems foreseen. Comes from a family returning to the UK. Currently at a rescue centre in Southern Spain but coming to the UK in June.
Holly – 10-12 year old female German Shepherd Dog
Holly is a 10-12 year old female German Shepherd Dog. Holly is very thin and came to the rescue because the owner’s partner died and has been with at the centre since September. She is a lovely and gentle dog that gets on very well with other dogs but not know how she is with cats. Currently at a rescue centre in Southern Spain but coming to the UK in June.
Corky – 20 month old male English Cocker Spaniel
Corky is a 20 month old male English Cocker Spaniel. Corky is home tested and is fine with other dogs, but unknown how he is with cats. Corky was left in a garden when the owner returned to the UK and rescued by the gardener along with another dog called Copito who has since been rehomed in Switzerland. Nice and friendly but needs a firm master as do most cocker spaniels. Currently at a rescue centre in Southern Spain but coming to the UK in June.
