Emily – 4 year old female Lurcher

Emily is a four year old Lurcher who came into the rescue as a stray. Being a lurcher type, Emily can be easy-going and relaxed but capable of bounding round excitedly and very fast. She will make a fine companion for someone who enjoys the outdoors. She is very friendly and affectionate, walks well on the lead and is often walked by families visiting the rescue.

She cannot be homed with cats or small dogs due to her chase instinct. She may be suitable to live with larger dogs although we have not tested her off lead. She is very gentle around children so could possibly be homed with sensible children. A lovely lady often overlooked through no fault of her own.

Maggie – 2 year old female Cross-Breed

Maggie is a happy little Cross-Breed, approx 2 years old. Maggie gets on with other dogs and loves playing fetch. She finds kennel life a bit stressful, but we are sure she would thrive in a loving home. Could that be with you?

Harvey – 2 year old male Staffordshire Bull Terrier

Harvey is a young Staffordshire bull terrier approximately 2 years old. He has lots of energy and would enjoy long walks and plenty of toys to play with. Harvey has responded well to basic obedience training and loves lots of fuss. Harvey is socialising well with the other dogs at the kennels but we feel that living with another dog may be too much for him at this stage.
