Nico – 9 year old male German Shepherd Dog
Nico is a 9 year old, neutered male German Shepherd Dog. Three years ago Nico developed cataracts and is now permanently blind. He was brought into us due to his owner working long hours and she didn’t think she could give him the care and attention he needed. He is a lovely laid back gentle dog who loves everybody he meets. His condition does not affect him in any way.
He goes out for walks and loves to be let off his lead and doesn’t go very far. Nico is very responsive when he gets to know your voice and will do basic commands. He loves to sit with us in the office as he just loves human company. He will need a quiet home with someone who is in most of the time. He is very good with other dogs and has lived with cats in the past. Nico is neutered ,flead ,wormed chipped and vaccinated.

Nipper is a 10 year old Cross-Breed male. He was brought into us as his owner has a terminal illness and could no longer care for him. He had owned Nipper from a pup and sadly being separated from his owner has affected Nipper, who was very fearful of anyone who approached him. In the short time he has been with us, he has come a long way. He now adores all the staff and even has a couple of kennel pals.
Nipper is very playful and puppy like, he loves his walks and is young at heart. He is okay with other dogs once he knows them but he really needs a home on his own with no other animals. He knows basic commands and is very loyal and loving. Please come and see me as my picture does not do me justice.

Bramble is a 12 week old black and brindle male Cross-Breed. He was handed into us as a stray who was underweight and extremely hungry. He is now being fed regular meals, and awaiting a home of his own. His is a typical puppy in that he is full of mischief and wants to be involved in everything that’s going on around him. Like all puppies he will need training and socialisation to ensure he gets the right start in life.
He is good with other dogs, although he needs to be taught some boundaries as sometimes he can get too over excited when playing. Bramble is used to being in a crate and is making excellent progress with his house training, with only the odd accident now. Ideally we are looking for an owner who has had previous experiences in raising a pup and knows all the challenges they may face. We would like his new owners to enrol him in puppy training classes. He will be ok in a household with children over 10 years old. Bramble is fully vaccinated, microchipped, flead and wormed and will be neutered when he is old enough.

Hughie is an 8 year old tan and white medium male Cross-breed. Hughie has lived with dogs and cats in his previous home but due to his lack of socialisation as a pup he will need an experienced owner. Hughie is very playful and energetic and would benefit from training classes to aid his socialisation and training. He would suit a home with older children aged 12 and over. Hughie loves his walks although he cannot be let off his lead. Hughie is house trained, neutered, fully vaccinated, flead, wormed and microchipped.
Tara – 3 year old female Cross-Breed
Tara is a 3 year old tan medium female Cross-breed. She is good with other dogs and gets on with cats. She would suit a household with older children from 12 years old as she has an excitable nature. Tara is a very playful girl who is good off her lead. She would benefit from going to training classes to teach her basic commands and manners. Tara is energetic and loves playing with her toys, but she also likes a cuddle and a fuss as well. Tara is house trained, neutered, fully vaccinated, flead, wormed and microchipped.
Beana – 4 year old female Cross-Breed
Beana is a 4 year old tan and white medium female Cross breed. She was brought into us as her owner could no longer care for her. She is great with other dogs and cats as she has always been around them. Beana can be wary of strangers but is fine once she gets to know you. She would be ok with children over 10. Beana would suit an energetic household as she loves her walks; she is well behaved off her lead.
She is an incredibly affectionate and loyal dog who has lots of love to give. Beana has a metal plate in her left back leg due to a medical condition that has now been rectified with surgery; this can affect her in cold weather, making her slightly stiff on it. Beana is house trained, neutered, fully vaccinated, flead, wormed and microchipped.

Jack is a 1 year old Border Collie. Jack came into us as his owner worked long hours and could no longer care for him. Jack is good with other dogs but can be wary of new people to begin with. Once he gets to know you he is a very loving and loyal dog.
Being a Border Collie, Jack will need an active owner who can give him the exercise he needs. Jack would benefit from going to obedience classes and also agility or flyball as these classes will stimulate him in both mind and body. Jack is neutered, fully vaccinated, de-flead, wormed and microchipped.
Tessa – 8 year old female German Shepherd Dog
Tessa is an 8 year old German Shepherd Dog. Tessa came into us in a terrible state; she was badly neglected, being very thin with a matted coat. Tessa has been with us for such a long time now and is doing great having been given regular meals and weekly grooming. Tessa is good with people and tolerates other dogs but ideally would suit a home with no other animals.
She is a very laid back and gentle lady who likes nothing better then to sit at your feet all day. Tessa, like many of her breed, suffers from hip problems which mean some days she is less spryly then she wants to be, she will need medication to help control her condition. She would love a home where she can retire and enjoy the rest of her life knowing she will be loved and cared for and not have to go hungry ever again. Tessa is neutered, fully vaccinated, de-flead, wormed and microchipped.

Kelly is an 8 year old cross breed. He was originally rehomed by us as a pup but sadly has now been brought back in because his owner had passed away. He is good with other dogs and loves people. He has been spoilt by his last owner so is quite tubby at the moment, but with a good diet and regular exercise he is slowly losing weight.
He loves to play and does not let his weight problem get in the way of a good game of fetch. Kelly would love a family of his own where he can enjoy life for many years to come. Kelly is neutered, fully vaccinated, de-flead, wormed and microchipped.
Tara – 11 month old female Cross-Breed
Tara is an 11 month old cross-breed. She came into us as her owner could no longer care for her. She is a very sweet natured, friendly and loving dog. She knows some basic commands and is great off her lead. She is good with other dogs.
She has not been house trained at all, so her new owner will need a lot of patience and understanding when it comes to training her. She loves to cuddle up to you on the sofa and is always first in line to greet new people and get a fuss. Tara will need an active owner as she loves playing and going for walks. Tara is neutered, fully vaccinated, de-flead, wormed and microchipped.
