Beana – 4 year old female Cross-Breed
Beana is a 4 year old tan and white medium female Cross breed. She was brought into us as her owner could no longer care for her. She is great with other dogs and cats as she has always been around them. Beana can be wary of strangers but is fine once she gets to know you. She would be ok with children over 10. Beana would suit an energetic household as she loves her walks; she is well behaved off her lead.
She is an incredibly affectionate and loyal dog who has lots of love to give. Beana has a metal plate in her left back leg due to a medical condition that has now been rectified with surgery; this can affect her in cold weather, making her slightly stiff on it. Beana is house trained, neutered, fully vaccinated, flead, wormed and microchipped.

Jack is a 1 year old Border Collie. Jack came into us as his owner worked long hours and could no longer care for him. Jack is good with other dogs but can be wary of new people to begin with. Once he gets to know you he is a very loving and loyal dog.
Being a Border Collie, Jack will need an active owner who can give him the exercise he needs. Jack would benefit from going to obedience classes and also agility or flyball as these classes will stimulate him in both mind and body. Jack is neutered, fully vaccinated, de-flead, wormed and microchipped.
Tessa – 8 year old female German Shepherd Dog
Tessa is an 8 year old German Shepherd Dog. Tessa came into us in a terrible state; she was badly neglected, being very thin with a matted coat. Tessa has been with us for such a long time now and is doing great having been given regular meals and weekly grooming. Tessa is good with people and tolerates other dogs but ideally would suit a home with no other animals.
She is a very laid back and gentle lady who likes nothing better then to sit at your feet all day. Tessa, like many of her breed, suffers from hip problems which mean some days she is less spryly then she wants to be, she will need medication to help control her condition. She would love a home where she can retire and enjoy the rest of her life knowing she will be loved and cared for and not have to go hungry ever again. Tessa is neutered, fully vaccinated, de-flead, wormed and microchipped.

Kelly is an 8 year old cross breed. He was originally rehomed by us as a pup but sadly has now been brought back in because his owner had passed away. He is good with other dogs and loves people. He has been spoilt by his last owner so is quite tubby at the moment, but with a good diet and regular exercise he is slowly losing weight.
He loves to play and does not let his weight problem get in the way of a good game of fetch. Kelly would love a family of his own where he can enjoy life for many years to come. Kelly is neutered, fully vaccinated, de-flead, wormed and microchipped.
Tara – 11 month old female Cross-Breed
Tara is an 11 month old cross-breed. She came into us as her owner could no longer care for her. She is a very sweet natured, friendly and loving dog. She knows some basic commands and is great off her lead. She is good with other dogs.
She has not been house trained at all, so her new owner will need a lot of patience and understanding when it comes to training her. She loves to cuddle up to you on the sofa and is always first in line to greet new people and get a fuss. Tara will need an active owner as she loves playing and going for walks. Tara is neutered, fully vaccinated, de-flead, wormed and microchipped.
Cassie – 1 year old female Staffordshire Bull Terrier
Cassie is a pretty 1 year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier. She is white and black with a bit of brindle mixed in. She is good with other dogs and has been fostered in a home with cats. She loves to play and can be quite boisterous, therefore she would not be able to go to a home with small children.
She will need an owner who is experienced with the breed as she is very over the top and very excitable, she has attended training and socialisation classes and we would hope that her new owner would continue with this to enable her to be moulded in to a lovely girl and a credit to her breed. She is neutered, de-flead, wormed, fully vaccinated and microchipped. She is currently being fostered so you will need to phone the rescue to arrange to meet her.

Sammy is a 3 year old male Yorkshire Terrier. He is good with people, but is wary of men to begin with. He is not suitable to be rehomed with children. He is good with other dogs.
Sammy is a very energetic dog despite his size and will need lots of daily exercise to keep him happy and healthy. He will need regular professional grooming to keep his coat from becoming matted. He is a lovely natured little guy who loves a fuss and a cuddle. He is house trained and knows some basic commands. Sammy is neutered, de flead, wormed, fully vaccinated and microchipped.

Billy is a 3 year old male English Cocker Spaniel. He is good with other dogs. He is good off his lead and has had some basic training. He is not suitable to be rehomed with children.
Billy needs an experienced owner as he has problems with dominance which we are currently working through with a dog behaviourist. He needs a firm but understanding owner who is willing to work with him and in turn will see him as the brilliant dog he is. Billy is neutered, de flead, wormed, fully vaccinated and microchipped.
Rusty – 2 year old male Terrier Cross
Rusty is a friendly 2 year old male Terrier Cross. He was found wandering as a stray and so was brought in to us. He is good with people, although he can be shy at first. We think he would be okay with cats as well as he has been tested with the ones at our rescue and is fine with them.
He enjoys a cuddle just as much as a game of fetch and is very affectionate, jumping into the first available lap for a fuss! He is well behaved off his lead, but he has not had any basic training such as sit, stay or heel. He would benefit from going to dog training classes. Rusty is neutered, de flead, wormed, fully vaccinated and microchipped.
Nellie – 8 year old female Staffordshire Bull Terrier
Nellie is a beautiful Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross female aged 8 years old, although you wouldn’t think it if you saw her playing! She loves people but she would not be suitable to be rehomed with any other animals and children need to be 12 and over. She is neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, flead and wormed.
