Tugs - 9 1/2 year old male Papillion
Tugs is a small fine red and white male Papillion who is around 9 1/2 years old. Tugs needs to be homed as an only dog. He is fine with cats as he was brought up with them. He is a very loving and affectionate dog. Tugs needs an owner who will not only love him but also be firm with him and not let him get away with his little quirks.
As he is quite tiny in stature we won’t be homing Tugs with young children as he could get kicked by accident, or they could fall over him with little Tugs getting hurt. Tugs loves long walks.

Harry is a 5 year old male German Short-Haired Pointer. He is a very friendly dog and is fabulous with children and other dogs. Harry is obedient, walks off lead and when asked he will sit, stay, down and bed etc. Harry is very happy with people around. But he doesn’t like to be left on his own.
He doesn’t mind who the human is but wants to be with a human and as long as that happens he is fine. He has no confidence being on his own.
So any owner will have to be prepared to work on getting him used being left on his own slowly. But there is the possibility that he may be very different and relax more in a new home for some reason.

Barney is a friendly 3 1/2 year old male English Bull Terrier. His present owner says: “I have had Barney since he was six weeks old and he is a loving dog, great with my children and grandchildren as well as other dogs.
He has never been about cats, as one scratched him once, and he now runs a mile if one were to approach him. Unfortunately I am recently divorced and find that I can no longer give Barney the attention he needs.
Barney is a part of the family and will be surely missed, however the only reason I need a new home for him is so that he can have a better life.”

Bailey is a lovely 20 month old male Collie cross. He learns quickly and is a lively and loving dog who needs a home where he will get lots of exercise. Bailey loves to play ball and chase, so if you have older children he will enjoy games of football etc., with them. Bailey is clean and house-trained and does not chew and can be left alone without any problems
He is up to date with his injections and is wormed regularly. He doesn’t get on with cats. As Bailey is an active dog he will be best homed with someone who understands the Collies needs.
He will need a fairly firm hand but with the right owner he will be a loyal and loving dog. His present owner is very sorry to be losing him but due to their circumstances we are looking to rehome him.

Ludo is about 18 month old male Lurcher. He has a very sweet natured and always sits for his food. He is underweight and has been straying and feeding himself for quite a while.
Ludo will need a lot TLC and feeding. As he is a stray we cannot home with small children or small furries. Ludo is probably is fine with other dogs, as he was a travellers dog.
Ludo is currently in kennels and is looking for either a foster home or a forever home.

Ruby is a 2-4 year old female Saluki cross female. She is a lovely natured gentle girl, who gets on well with the other dogs in her foster home.
Ruby is good on the lead and has some obedience, but will need more training. Ruby was found as a stray with a broken leg and has now fully recovered, but she has a plate in her leg.
As Ruby was found as a stray she will be homed with older children only and no cats or small furries. Ruby will make a lovely pet.

Gina is a young Lurcher cross Staffordshire Bull Terrier female under 1 year old. She is a very affectionate and friendly girl.
Gina is currently in kennels and is looking for either a foster home or a forever home.

Maisy is a friendly 10 month old female Jack Russell Terrier. She has a rough white and tan coat and long legs.
Maisy has been spayed and microchipped and will be vaccinated before rehoming. Maisy seems to be housetrained and responds well to her name.
Training classes will be a must for this lovely young dog.
