Teddy - 2 1/2 year old male Shar-Pei
Teddy is a 2 1/2 year old Shar-Pei male, who will be 3 years old in November. He is a beautiful KC Registered. fawn brush coat Shar Pei. Teddy has been castrated and has had his ear canals removed due to having ear disease. This has left him between 60-70% deaf, so you need to be patient with him when calling etc.
He is fully house-trained and is used to being left. Teddy also knows the commands of sit, lay down and paw, with visual commands as well.
Teddy is very laid back, enjoys sleeping and treats which include cheese, pig’s ears, left overs and dry bread. Teddy is good natured, but doesn’t like to be approached by strangers too quickly and can growl at them; he would prefer to ’suss’ out someone. Teddy has lived and socialised with other dogs, and also lives with a cat, without any problems.
He has never lived with children, but has socialized with them (14 – 16 years old). Teddy would be better off in a quiet household, with older children that aren’t going to treat him like a ‘toy’ and try to pull him about.

Kamalia maybe best homed with older children, like teenagers, not toddlers.

Honey is a beautiful 7 month old female Shar-Pei cross Dogue de Bordeaux. She is a very friendly girl with a lovely temperament. She has lived with young toddlers and a baby. She also seems okay with other dogs. Honey will probably be best to live with another dog if it is a male. As Honey is quite big already and could knock over very young children, we suggest she not be homed with them.

Zola is a handsome 5 year old black, male German Shepherd. He has a very loving nature and loves being with people - look at him smile! Zola is fully house-trained, micro-chipped, vaccinated and neutered. He has lived with children (7 years +) before. Due to a history of abuse Zola can sometimes bark at strangers, but once he realises they will do no harm to him, or you, he settles down.
Because of this history he would be best suited to someone with previous German Shepherds/big dog experience.
Zola loves to chase which means he is not too good with cats, although he is living with one at the moment. Zola doesn’t like all dogs but is mostly okay and likes to play. He is a beautiful, sensitive dog and needs a firm, loving hand.

Rupert is a very handsome 1-2 year old male Collie cross Cocker Spaniel. Not much is known about his past, as he was found as a stray. For this reason, Rupert cannot be rehomed with children.
Rupert’s fosterer reports: “Rupert needs very sensitive, but firm handling. He can be very stubborn, but is very quick to learn. He would make a very good obedience dog. Rupert is a very loving and affectionate little man, and if given plenty of exercise and stimulation throughout the day, then he is happy to chill out in the evenings, and enjoy cuddles with you.
Rupert does have issues with being left alone, something, which I am working very hard on with him. The extent of his “being left” worries, is quite severe, therefore his new owners must be prepared for months of hard work, and maybe recruiting professionals to help Rupert. He can be rehomed with a confident cat and other dogs. He is good off the lead, and loves his tennis balls, and tug of war”. Rupert is a wonderful boy who will make someone a great pet.
