Jazz – 9 year old male German Shepherd Dog
Jazz is a beautiful nine year old German Shepherd who has had a find a home after had only been in this home for four years after her first owner had passed away as well. Jazz is a placid, shy, gentle girl who bonds strongly with her owner and is them. Still an active dog who enjoys her walks Jazz would love a home where she can give her owner lots of affection and loyalty, she could share her home with another dog if they are difficult time, she came to Raystede needing to her owner passed away, sadly Jazz devoted to suited to each other, she is used to older children and may be able to live with a confident cat.
Pippa and Ben – 12 year old male Labrador and 5 year old male Schnauzer
Pippa and Ben came to Raystede following the death of their owner, other family members did not have time to look after them, they are the best of friends and are looking for a home together. Pippa is a twelve year old chocolate Labrador and Ben is five year old Schnauzer.
Until recent months both dogs were used to an active life but recently this had changed and both have gained extra weight, however once these pounds have been shed they will be back on form. They love they time outdoors and are very happy, friendly and social dogs who would enjoy a new home where they will be given lots of fun, company and affection.

Jack is a two year old terrier mix who was bought into Raystede after his owner said they could no longer manage to care for him. Jack has been passed around throughout his life and is likely to have had at least three different homes already. Jack is very defensive when meeting new people and mistrustful from the start, he is looking for a home where there are no other animals or any young children, he needs an experienced home where he can be given the correct, clear and kind training he needs to be able to learn to trust people again.
Jack has not been well socialised with other dogs and will also need to have help with this. Once you have proved yourself to Jack and he trusts you he is willing to be your best friend for life, he is a fun-loving cheeky who loves his toys, walks and playtime, then once he is worn out he would love to spend curled on your lap enjoying lots of attention.

Spencer is a lovely eight year old who Staffordshire bull terrier cross who was picked as a stray and not claimed by anyone. Spencer is very sad company and wishes he more than going for a walk and receiving lots of attention and fuss. This other dogs and could possibly share his home match, he is very well behaved and could probably live with older children who are used to having a dog around.
Spencer is looking for someone to love and who will love him in return, he seems to about being in kennels as he just loves human could have more of it, he loves nothing having a play with his toys and gentle boy is social with already received lots of basic training, he takes everything and is a good natured dog with everyone he meets, in stride he may suit a first time dog owner or a home where a calmer, steady dog is ideal.

Milo is a 2 year old Yorkie cross. Milo is a little dog with a huge personality. He has plenty of energy, loves country walks and playing followed by a good groom and cuddling up on the sofa. Milo has had quite a stressful few months and will need understanding, calm and patient handling to help him relax and enjoy life in a home environment again. Milo can be nervous of men and children. He is not suitable to live with cats and needs training around other dogs.
Milo found this area to stressful and moved some where quieter; if you are interested in offering a home please speak to staff at reception.

Ollie and Toby came to Raystede needing a help to find a new home after a change in the circumstances of their previous owner,Toby (a yellow Labrador) is eight years old and Ollie (a Labrador cross Collie) is four years old. Both these boys are very well behaved and are very well mannered, they have received lots of training in their last home and are very well behaved dogs who are gentle and just love human and canine company, they are sociable with children and other dogs and although they have not been around cats before they may be able to live with a confident cat who is used to dogs. These two beautiful boys are looking for a home together as they are the best of buddies who are always playing together and looking out for each other.

Bambi came to Raystede for help when she was found abandoned on a rubbish site in a severe state of neglect, she was terrified, very underweight and suffering with major skin problems that had left her red raw. Bambi suffers with uncoordinated movement which gives the appearance of her being unsteady on her feet however she manages very well and is still able to run, play and be as cheeky as any other young dog. Bambi has several food allergies but is still able to eat normal dog food as long as certain ingredients are avoided therefore this is easy to manage and control. Bambi will need a very special home that is understanding and patient but in return Bambi will give you lots of fun and love.
Teddy – 18 month old male Rottweiler Cross
Teddy is a Rottweiler cross aged approximately eighteen months who came to Raystede after he was picked up as a stray and not claimed by anyone. Although Teddy is a good deal smaller than the average Rottweiler he is a heavy and very strong dog who needs a handler who is able to manage the strength he can show on the lead. Teddy has a sweet and placid nature and can sometimes be quite a sensitive soul, he is a bright dog who knows some basics already and he is capable of learning a lot more in the right home and with the right training. Due to his strength he would and love of playing Teddy would not be suitable in a home with young children or those not used to being around dogs.
Max – 1 year old male Pug Cross
Max is a one year old pug cross who came to Raystede when his owners needed to move house. Max is a confident little character who knows his own mind and on occasions can be strong willed and stubborn, he will need a competent home where he can be given clear, kind and consistent training. He loves his toys and food and is bright little dog who’s new owner will need to be experienced enough to train this big personality in a small body. Max has a fun loving personality and would be a great addition to any terrier loving home, he could possibly live with another dog and with training may be able to live with cats, he is however looking for a home where there are no resident children.
Oscar – 18 month old male Cross-Breed
Oscar is an eighteen month old small-medium cross breed whose owners could no longer cope with his separation anxiety. Oscar is a fabulous dog who, although sometimes shy to begin with, loves everyone he meets, he is sociable with other dogs, enjoys being involved in everything and loves playing and having fun. He is a sensitive soul who can sometimes be a little worried and insecure in new situations but will always try to please and is bright and
keen to learn.
Oscar suffers with separation anxiety and becomes very distressed when he is left at home alone and has been destructive previously, he will need a patient and understanding home where he can be given time to undertake new training and in return he will give you all the love in the world and many happy times.
