Buddy – 5 year old male French Bulldog cross Staffordshire Bull Terrier

Please meet Buddy, a French Bulldog cross Staffordshire Bull Terrier , male, approximately 5 years old. He is white in colour with a black eye patch and he is small and stocky in size. Buddy came into our care after his owners could not afford his veterinary treatment after he got his head stuck in some railings and sadly he was signed over.

Buddy is gorgeous he is all smiles and a very happy little chap. He has settled straight into his foster home where he is proving himself to be the perfect little family dog – good with cats and children. He is very good with the dogs he lives with but has recently decided he doesn’t like some other dogs so we feel a home as an only dog is best.

He is a real character and has a lovely friendly kind nature. He is happy to share his space with his doggy housemates, is house trained, appears to be OK to be left home alone and has a good recall.

If you are interested in finding out more about Buddy please complete our rehoming form http://www.rochdale-dog-rescue.com/RehomingEnquiry.html after reading our rehoming guidelines.

Buddy will be microchipped, neutered and fully vaccinated prior to being rehomed.

He is also housetrained, has a nice recall, lovely manners including walking well on the lead and is a good traveler.

Troy can climb quite high so he would need a new home with a nice secure garden and a family who are happy to work with keeping him from going off on his travels into the big world! Bubba – 18 month old male Cross-Breed

Please meet Bubba, an 18 month old dark brindle cross-breed described as follows “there’s almost certainly some Staffie in there, possibly some collie as he has some slight feathering to his tail, sometimes I think I can see a bit of Lab, sometimes mastiff or Boxer – he’s more like a small mastiff”… whatever he is he is a real stunner!

He has a slight limp on one hind leg which has been checked out and it’s a slight deformity to his hip socket, probably congenital – nothing can or needs to be done to it at the moment but he may need anti-inflammatory when he’s older.

When Bubba arrived at Lurcher Link, found as a stray, he was petrified of everything and everybody and had obviously been badly beaten but he has come on in leaps and bounds and is now very friendly and very playful but given his scaredness, he will not be rehomed with any children under the age of 12.

He gets on well with other dogs and walks nicely on a head collar. Bubba is currently in the West Yorkshire area in the care of Lurcher Link.

He has been vaccinated, wormed, microchipped and neutered. If you are interested in finding out more please contact Kaye on 01422 240168 (before 9 pm please) or email kaye@lurcherlink.org
