Caleb – 1 year old male American Bulldog
Caleb is a 1 year old American Bulldog with stunning blue eyes. He was picked up off the streets in freezing temperatures in Wakefield. No other rescue could offer him heated kennels and as he was so very malnourished and unhappy, Rotherham Dog Rescue came to his aid. He is very good with other dogs and would happily live with other dogs. He is good to walk on the lead and knows the basic commands. Caleb shows signs of fearing men, due to his previous treatment, so is extremely cautious of men at first meeting but once he knows he has nothing to fear, he comes out of his shell and accepts a fuss. Because of his size, Caleb would suit a home with older children and a family with previous experience of the breed or of the Boxer type breed, he would prefer a calm environment due to his slightly nervous nature. Caleb is now putting on weight and enjoys his walks and stimulation.
Robbie – 2 year old male Jack Russell Terrier
Robbie is a loveable cuddly little Jack Russell Terrier lad of around 2 years old who came to us from the council pound and so we don’t know his history. We only know that someone is missing out on a beautiful boy who is just right for a family home.
Max – 1 year old male Labrador Cross
Max is a Labrador cross aged approximately 1 year old who came to us when he was around 6 months. His previous carer had been made homeless and he lived with Max in his car. Obviously, this became unbearable for both parties and Max came to us.
He was only with us about a week and became very ill and as a result had to have a blood transfusion and we thought he would not pull through, but he did and is a very lucky lad looking for a new home.
He went into foster after becoming ill to regain his strength. He is a lively lad with a wonderful character. Max needs lots of exercise and stimulation now and is desperate for this type of home now.

Meet Betty, an elderly Border Collie female who is looking for a new home with a history not many would envy. Betty was a dog kept on a puppy farm many years ago, when she was no longer of use to them, she was rescued by a lady and her family, where she lived happily. Two years ago she was found wandering the streets and after doing her time in the pound came into Rotherham Dog Rescue to be rehomed.
Her owners at the time heard about her being with us and contacted us, Betty eventually went back to live with them, but came back into us four months ago after her owners son became ill.
She has had many ups and downs in her life, but she is a wonderful dog who is looking for a loving home to spend the rest of her days in comfort with a family who love her and she in turn, will offer you her love and affection in abundance. Can you offer her a loving new home?

Ricky is a 9 month old male Rottweiler cross Staffordshire Bull Terrier, he looks like a miniature Rottweiler! He is a lovely fussy dog. What a fella!
Meg – 7 year old female Cross-Breed
Meg is a 7 year old medium sized female, she is a real beauty and she will make a good family dog. Poor Meg needs a new home now.
Kane – 5 year old male Collie Cross
Kane is a 5 year old male Collie cross. We hope someone will come along and give this guy an understanding home.
Holly – 2 year old female Cross-Breed
Holly is a 2 year old medium sized cross-breed female. She is a beautiful girl, so loving, just waiting for a home.
