Jasper – 3-5 year old male Jack Russell Terrier Cross
Jasper is a very friendly little Jack Russell cross aged between 3-5 years old. He gets on well with people and dogs, travels well in the car and charmed everyone on the sponsored walk. We can’t understand why he hasn’t been snapped up, he’s such a smashing little dog.
Max – 18 month old male Collie cross German Shepherd
Max is a good looking Collie cross German Shepherd aged 18 months old. Due to his early upbringing, when he was kept in and not socialised, Max was extremely nervous when he arrived but this has now improved so much that we decided he could go on the sponsored walk and he did very well.
He was good with all the other dogs though still a little nervous when approached by people. Max would need understanding and patient owners to help him to gain confidence. Once he trusts you he is very friendly.
Biggles – 1 year old male Cross-Breed
Biggles is about 1 year old cross-breed male who came from the stray kennels where he was due to be put to sleep. He is ever so friendly and will sit on command. He is looking for an energetic family who have the time to give him the attention he loves.
Biggles travelled well in the car and was really good in the vets. He sat nicely and didn’t fuss when some more dogs came in. He has wonderful ears – the photo’s don’t do them justice. They stand up when he is listening and he looks so cute!
He has spent a few weeks with a family who say that he was well behaved in all ways, great with the children and good with other dogs.

Rex is a 4-5 year old German Shepherd. He has a lovely temperament and is good with children and other dogs. Well behaved and comes back when called. Rex has come back to us after 3 years because his owner is ill and facing a long stay in hospital.
Alfie – 2 year old male Cross-Breed
Alfie is a very loving and friendly 2 year old cross-breed. He is used to living with young children and is an ideal family dog. Alfie is small to medium size and would enjoy being part of an active family. He is vaccinated, microchipped and neutered.
Ruby – 1 year old female Jack Russell Terrier Cross
Ruby is a long legged Jack Russell Terrier cross aged 1 year old. Ruby is very good on the lead and sits on command.
She is vaccinated and microchipped and has just been in season so a voucher will be given to have her neutered when the time is right.
Freddy – 2 year old male Jack Russell Terrier
Freddy is a small type Jack Russell Terrier aged about 2 years. He is brilliant with other dogs, very active and loves to be out and about. Although he is well behaved when out walking he can be unpredictable in the house and needs a very experienced owner who won’t be intimidated by him and can teach him how to behave. He lived with Jan for a few weeks and there was a marked improvement in his behaviour. His new owners would need to continue with his training guidelines and our trainer would be on hand to offer help and advice. Freddy would need a home with no children or cats but would be fine with other dogs.
Deacon – 4 year old male Border Collie
Deacon is a beautiful 4 year old Border Collie. He has an excellent temperament and is great with children. Deacon is not at the kennels, he is staying with a foster family so please ring or email for details.
Connie – 1-2 year old female Cross-Breed
Connie is a cross-breed female aged 1-2 years old. She is very fussy and friendly and although she is only small she is surprisingly strong for her size and would be a bit too boisterous for young children. An active family for lots of walks and games would suit Connie.
Pebbles – 1-2 year old female Cross-Breed
Pebbles is a gorgeous 1-2 year old female Cross-Breed who came into the rescue with her sister Jasmine. She is affectionate and friendly but the quieter of the two sisters.She travels well in the car and is fantastic on walks. She is playful and lots of fun but can be a little nervous at times so we would prefer her to go to an adult only home where she can come out of her shell and become part of family life.
