Amanda – 2 year old female Staffordshire Bull Terrier

Poor little Amanda, she is a 2 year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier who has been at the centre for over a year now due to her being part of a cruelty case. She had been kept in a cage and used for breeding. This has made her slightly nervous of new people, but once she knows you she’s a lively lady.

Amanda loves her walks and enjoys the company of other dogs. She could live with a male and possibly a female. She is looking for an experienced owner who can build up her confidence with strangers slowly. We are looking for a cat free zone due to her nervous behaviour.

So if you can help a very special lady then please contact Blackberry Farm.

Sasha – 3 1/2 year old female Staffordshire Bull Terrier Cross

Sasha is a fun loving 3 1/2 year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross, who really loves to be centre of attention and hates being stuck here at the centre. She loves the staff and volunteers dearly, but this is no life for such a sweet and energetic lady! Sasha is looking for a very active home where she will be taken to training classes. She may need to be taught to be left, so therefore she will need somebody around most of the day.

Sasha is asking to live in a cat free zone, with children 15 years or over and could live with a quiet male! Sasha has now been in kennels for months as she had puppies while at one of the centres and then was moved down to us when they were weaned. She does not deserve to be trapped here any longer, she is very responsive to her handler and in the right home she will become a smashing lady.

Spikey – 4 year old male Staffordshire Bull Terrier

Hey you, yes you, come here a second and let me tell you about me! My names Spikey, I’m a 4 year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier boy and yes before you start to whisper among yourselves, I do only have one eye and NO it wasn’t due to a dog fight – the amount of times I hear that! I had a poorly eye that stuck out and caused me lots of pain, so the kind vets removed the eye and now I’m tickerty boo!

Anyway, back to me! I am such a sweet lad, who allows you to know I’m excited as I make little snorting noises, just can’t help it. I love to walk and run and need an active owner. I do put on weight easily, which I must say I think is fine, but the girls do try and stop that. (I’d much rather it if they didn’t).

I would like to be the only dog in the house, with no cats, and unfortunately I was teased and hit by children in my previous home so
therefore I would prefer a mature family!

Bella – 3 year old female Rottweiler

Bella is a loyal, loving 3 year old Rottweiler lady looking for an active and experienced home. She is looking for a home where she would be the only dog as she needs lots of training and can be a little over the top with other dogs. Bella will need training classes once she has been adopted.

Bella is very sweet and loves to be loved! She will make somebody a very loyal companion. We feel she gets overlooked at the centre due to her breed, which is such a shame as she is the most loving dog at the centre.

If you are experienced, active, have a cat free house then maybe you could give Bella that 2nd chance!!

Jess – 5 year old female Staffordshire Bull Terrier Cross

Poor old Jess, she is a lovely 5 year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross lady, but for some reason she has been stuck in our kennels for months! We just can’t understand why no one wants her, she is so loving and just needs a ‘forever’ home.

Jess came to the centre as part of a cruelty case, and as you may notice she has no ear flaps. This is because someone somewhere removed them illegally. She feels very conscious of this as people tend to stare at her, but we tell her everyday how beautiful she is!

Jess does have a grass allergy, this is controlled with steroids and should only last the summer period. This treatment would need to be continued by her new owner. Jess is happy to live with older children, an experienced owner and quiet males, but needs a cat free zone.

If you have a lot of love and warm comfy bed, maybe, just maybe you could find it in your heart to help Jess!!

Daisy – 1 year old female English Bull Terrier Cross

Well look at this fabulous lady! Daisy is a very cute 1 year old English Bull Terrier cross girl who can be very nervous at times of new situations, but once shes used to somebody or something she is then a live wire and very lively.

Daisy was brought in due to being beaten up by the other dog in the house. This has made her wary of some dogs by keeping out of their way. But others she still is full of beans and wants to play with them, even if this means barking at them to chase her. This is quite a sweet habit but does need controlling as not all dogs will tolerate her doing this!

Daisy is able to live with male dogs and older children, but will need a cat free zone.
