BA
This is BA (also now known as Bumble) a 4 year old neutered male Lurcher. He is a friendly, gentle boy who knows his name on command. He is good when groomed and is okay with other dogs. He could live with children aged 10+, but definitely no cats or small animals. He is a lovely dog but does have a strong chase instinct so would need someone who understands this type of dog.
Buster
This is Buster a 2-3 year old neutered male Collie cross Staffordshire Bull Terrier. He is a friendly boy who is good when groomed and knows sit and paw on command. Buster is house-trained, okay when left, travels well in the car and enjoys playing with toys. He is okay with other dogs and can live with older children.
Mr Whippet
This is Mr Whippet a 3-4 year old neutered male Whippet. He was found as a stray and never claimed. He is a friendly boy who is unhappy in kennels. Mr Whippet knows sit and down on command and is good when groomed. He needs a home as the only pet and without young children. Mr Whippet would prefer an adult home and would benefit from further socialising.
Viva
This is Viva a 10 month old spayed female medium sized cross-breed. She came to us from Ireland. She is shy at first but very sweet and affectionate once she knows you. Viva is okay with other dogs and could live with a confident cat but would prefer a home without young children.

Aspen
Aspen is a male Rottweiler aged 5-6 months old. He was brought into us with his 6 brothers and sisters and mum, J.D. (also featured on DogsBlog.com), they were removed from unsuitable living conditions.
Aspen and his brothers and sisters had their tails docked using plastic cable ties. He would be ideally suited in a new home with owners experienced with large breeds.

This is J.D., a 3-4 year old female Rottweiler. She was brought into us via an inspector. She and her 7 puppies (along with others) were removed from unsuitable living conditions. Her pups also had their tails docked using plastic cable ties.

She is looking for an experienced and active home. J.D. is very affectionate and loves any attention that she can get. She generally has good manners and know sit, wait, paw and leave. However she is capable of being a little testing when it comes to you saying no. J.D. is great off the lead and loves to play fetch.
She will tolerate most dogs as long as they are playful and happy for her to be the boss! Cats and small fluffies are a definite no-no. She is clean in her kennel so is probably housetrained but she does like to move her blankets about. She gets through quite a few soft and squeaky toys too and don’t think that you’d be able to play football without her tackling you either!
If you are experienced with this breed or big dogs and you are active and prepared to maintain J.D’s manners, preferably without children in the home PLEASE talk to a member of staff. She has got a lot of love and play to offer the right person.
