Mac – 18 month old male Beagle cross Staffordshire Bull Terrier

This is Mac, he is a young handsome Beagle cross Staffordshire Bull Terrier boy aged approximately 18 months old. He was rescued from “Death Row” in August 2009, he was rehomed briefly but it did not work out due to the family dynamics. Mac is a lovely lad all he needs is an understanding owner who is prepared to put some training into the relationship. He has had a lot of changes in his short life – not all of them good ones.

He has that beautiful Staffie grin but without the teeth, he is a strong dog and is very playful. Ideally he will be rehomed with a family where there are older children who can play and exercise him but not get knocked over in his exuberance. He is currently located in Cheshire.

Thomas – 3 year old male English Bull Terrier

Meet Thomas, he is a 3 year old English Bull Terrier boy. He is not getting the desired interest and as a result still hasn’t found a home. We have put Thomas on this website in order to give him a helping hand in finding his loving forever home, he so deserves it!

Thomas has been with the branch since October 2008 after we saved him from being put to sleep through no fault of his own, but he’s been in the rescue system since April 2008. It is a long time for a young dog to spend in a kenneling environment. One of our dog walkers has formed a very special bond with him and takes him all over the place, he especially likes visiting her sister who puts Animal Farm on the television for him, he is known to sit and watch that for ages.

Here’s a little note from them: People need to see past the strong young man and see the daft creature that ran chasing balls in my garden, he loved it and was so well behaved. He is so sweet natured and loving we are desperate to find him a home where he will run with his ball, chase butterflies and fall asleep exhausted dreaming of the chase. If you could consider Thomas as an addition to your family please call us – you won’t be disappointed.

The picture showing him with two girls was taken last weekend, the two young ladies had raised money for the branch so we arranged for the them to meet the dogs and as can be seen by the photo he so loved the attention and was a total softy. We think it says buckets about him!
