Ruby – 15 month old female Collie cross Terrier

Ruby is a 15 month old female Collie cross Terrier who has come into care because of her owner’s ailing health. She is an extremely lively young girl who enjoys the company of other dogs and running after a ball. Ruby is house and crate trained and has recently learned to sit on her bed when the doorbell rings. She is a very friendly dog who would benefit from a family home with or without children (over the age of 5) where she can feel involved and part of the family.

Ruby has a medium length coat that needs regular grooming to avoid matting. Being a high energy breed and a very affectionate dog, Ruby will need experienced owners who have the time to give her the exercise, discipline and attention she needs on a daily basis. Winston – 9 year old male Parson Russell Terrier

Winston is a 9 year old Parson Russell Terrier who is a very loving little dog who came into care through no fault of his own. He loves walks, enjoys a cuddle and is very placid. He is house trained, friendly and gets on well with other dogs. He pulls a bit on his lead but is very slight in stature so is not difficult to manage. Winston is a calm dog who will benefit from a quiet household with or without another dog.

Narla – 3 year old female Alaskan Malamute cross Dalmatian

Narla is a 3 year old female Alaskan Malamute cross Dalmatian who has come into care through no fault of her own.  She is a very playful dog who loves the ball, gets on well with other dogs and is human friendly.  Narla has lived in a household where there were young children (5 years+) and another dog although she would not be comfortable living with cats or other small fury animals. Narla is a bit fearful of sudden noises and new situations however this has not prevented her from settling into her foster home.

With a little work this can be overcome and Narla become more self assured as time goes by.  Being a young girl of a strong breed Narla will require a confident owner who will provide her with the appropriate daily exercise she needs to be healthy and a little more lead training.

Rocky – 10 month old male Lurcher cross Greyhound

Rocky is a 10 month old Lurcher/Greyhound mix who is described by his foster carer as having a beautiful nature. He came into care through no fault of his own and is looking for new owners that are prepared to exercise him daily to meet the needs of this high energy breed. Rocky has excellent recall, he is crate and house trained and is a very intelligent dog. He has just entered puberty so may push some boundaries but he has been very responsive to guidance since being in foster care and is learning all the time. Rocky gets on well with children but would be better suited to older children in a forever family.

Riddick – 4-5 year old male German Shepherd Dog

Riddick is a 4-5 year old German Shepherd (neutered) who came into care as a result of a relationship breakdown. This handsome boy is very affectionate and loves a cuddle. He is housetrained, good on the lead, very obedient and seldom vocal. Riddick loves walking and happily plays with other dogs and walks away from pushy ones without a care. He is used to living with children so is a good family dog however can be re-homed in an adult only household too.
