Snoopy – 1 year old male Jack Russell Terrier cross Patterdale Terrier
Snoopy is a Jack Russell Terrier cross Patterdale Terrier. He is 1 year old and came in to our care due to a change in family circumstances. He is a fun loving typical terrier with lots of character. He would be best placed with a family experienced with terriers as like all terriers he can be strong willed and will need reminding who’s boss (in a nice way!) now and again!
He is ok with other dogs and children but a home without cats is necessary. Snoopy would very much like to be part of a family and enjoys long walks, plenty of fuss and would be a fantastic companion for a committed family. If you are interested in rehoming Snoopy please call Nicola on 07772 737503.

Maverick is a 10 year old fit and healthy older Boxer gent who has lived in a family environment with another dog. We feel very sad for poor old Maverick, he has found himself looking for a new home at the age of 10 due to a change in family circumstances. The previous owner had Maverick from a puppy and he has obviously been a very much loved family pet.
Maverick is struggling with kennel life and we would love to find him a new home quickly. We think that Maverick would be okay to live with another dog but feel he would prefer a nice calm quiet companion and not one that he will find challenging.

Meet the lovely Henry, a 2 year old English Springer Spaniel boy who has come into our care due to a change in family circumstances. Henry has lived with other dogs, children and cats. He is a super dog, very friendly, gets on with everyone and we would love to find him a lovely, active family home.
Charlie – 18 month old male English Cocker Spaniel
Charlie is a very handsome 18 month old English Cocker Spaniel. Charlie is a very friendly dog, gets on well with other dogs and has a very nice temperament. He has come into our care because his previous home found him a little lively for them.

Charlie has the potential to be a fantastic dog, he needs a home that can give him plenty of exercise and will make a commitment to give this bright little dog some training.
Poppy – 1 year old female Terrier Cross
Poppy is a 1 year old Terrier cross who came into our care after being signed over by an owner who was unable to look after her properly. This lovely dog is a very happy girl who is full of fun and joy. Poppy is a very friendly girl who gets on well with everyone and would love a home with an active family who she can get out and about with.
Tia – 4 year old female German Shepherd cross Rottweiler
Tia is a 4 year old female German Shepherd cross Rottweiler who has found herself in our care as an unwanted family pet. We are all struggling to get our heads around how someone could have parted with this wonderful dog. Everyone who has come across her thinks she is absolutely lovely, and she is!
What can we say about her? Tia is simply a really nice dog. She is friendly, pretty obedient, can do a few tricks and seems to be a relaxed and calm dog. We all think Tia is a really cracking girl and are looking forward to finding her a home that is as special as she is.

Joey is a Jack Russell Terrier boy aged approximately 5 years old who came into our care with his brother and mother when their owner could no longer care for them. His brother and mother found new homes very quickly but poor Joey is still waiting for the right home to come along. Joey’s whole world was turned upside down when he first came in as you can imagine, with the whole structure of your life changing.
He needs a patient committed home to help him to feel secure and safe. An ideal home would be one that has experience of Terriers and loves them for their character. Joey is very tenacious, full of personality, and a very loving.
He has shown himself to get a little jealous of other dogs so either a home as an only dog or alternatively a home where there are a large number of dogs would be ideal. He doesn’t really like walking and meeting other dogs while on a lead but off the lead he is okay and he has good recall so a home that can provide him the space to exercise freely would be good.
Travel in a car has been very limited for Joey and he is still getting used to the experience, at the moment he gets very excited and would benefit from being contained while on his journeys. We think Joey is a cracking dog and for an experienced home that loves terriers, understands their unique personality traits and who is prepared to make a commitment to him whilst he is settling in, he will make the most loyal and loving companion.
If you are interested in giving Joey a home please contact Carolyn on 07772 737503.

Meet our gorgeous Arnie, an 11 month old Dogue de Bordeaux. Arnie came into our care as an unwanted family pet. Very sadly Arnie has spent the first 11 months of his life incarcerated within the house and exercise was restricted to the garden; he had no experience of the big wide world. He arrived with us terrified and had to be carried into our office! A few weeks on and he has made fabulous progress. He is a firm favorite at the kennels.
He gets on well with other dogs and loves people. Arnie is a very sweet dog who will make a wonderful companion. He walks very well on a lead, has traveled well in the car and was very well behaved on a recent visit to the vets. He will need his new home to commit to continuing his training and socialization to ensure that he continues to grow into the wonderful dog he is showing himself to be.

An ideal home will be one who has experience of large breed dogs, has someone around most of the day to keep him company (he loves human company) and has older children – he is a big strong boy!

Lola and Lara – 8 month old female Lurchers
Lola and Lara are 8 month old Lurcher girls. They came into our care because their owner was no longer able to keep them. These two little lurchers are absolutely the sweetest girls and are going to make wonderful family pets. Full of fun and mischief we don’t think they have had too much training but with a little bit of effort the rewards will be very worthwhile. We will consider homes for them together or separately.
Anyone thinking for offering them a home together should bear in mind that they are very lively and feed off one another’s energy! They are good with other dogs but like most of this breed are not suitable to live with cats. We love these two dogs and look forward to finding them special homes.
