Ollie – 2 year old male Jack Russell Terrier cross Poodle
Ollie is a very cute little boy described as a Jackadoodle aged two years. Has been castrated and is fully vaccinated and has lived with a family who can no longer look after him so he is looking for a new forever home.

He walks well on the lead and is interested in all about him, like all terriers he would prefer an active life and would like toys to play with. At the moment Ollie is rather nervous of new people but he very soon comes round. If you would like further information on Ollie please phone Carol on 01642 317163.
Please note we can only rehome within 70 miles of Middlesbrough due to home checking.

Jack is a happy friendly Staffordshire Bull Terrier aged four years who urgently needs a new home due to a change in the family and his dad is in the army and will be away. This boy is castrated, he is house trained, good with other dogs and has lived with cats though he will chase them if they run. Jack loves water, long country walks and travelling in the car. His favorite toy is a ball, he is ball crazy and though he will chew his ball he never chews in the house. Out walking his recall is excellent.
Jack is not a fussy eater. Would prefer a home with no young children simply because he is not used to them. For more information on Jack please do ring Carol on 01642 317163.

Aisha is a German Shepherd aged approx. five years. When she first came to us she was a very different dog from the one you see now. Found by the police by the side of a busy road she was very emaciated, dirty and very frightened, at first she would not like any one to go near her. It has taken time for her to learn to trust again and to regain her weight and lovely coat.
Now Aisha is friendly and will go to anyone, she loves treats, her tummy being tickled, and enjoys long walks. Also she is good with all the other dogs in the kennels. What she needs now is a loving forever home, maybe as the only dog in the family and with older children. Please could you help. For more information please ring Margaret on 01642 488667.

Please note we can only rehome within 60 miles of Middlesbrough due to home checking.
Toby – 2 year old male Terrier Cross
Toby is an energetic rough coated terrier cross aged two years old. Sadly his family could no longer keep him due to work commitments and he does need someone to be home with him for most of the day.

Toby is such a friendly boy and is good with both other dogs and children, he loves to be fussed and petted. Needs lots of walks and play time so would be ideal for a family with older children who could have fun in the garden with him. This boy has had basic training but could do with this improving. He is a great little dog and if you would like to find out more information please do ring Yvonne on 01642 281252.
Please note we can only rehome within 70 miles of Middlesbrough.

29Aug2011 | Save Our Strays Rescue North East England | READ MORELilly – 18 month old female Cross-Breed
Lovely Lilly is a very special girl! She is so sweet, gentle and adorable, she really has so much to give to the right home.

She is great with other dogs and such a quiet, lovely easy girl. Her ideal home will be with another dog in a quiet rural home, someone who can give her all the time to come out of her shell and become more confident.

Sadly Lilly was found in a terrible state and it was discovered she had a broken pelvis, this was an old wound and had already healed itself. You really would not notice there is anything wrong with her. Luckily being a small dog she has coped really well and does not need any treatment for this, however we would advise preventative treatment like glucosamine supplements to prevent arthritis later on in life.

Whoever adopts Lilly will be very lucky!! She is such a little gem. Lilly is good with cats but we would prefer an adult only household for her.

Lilly is approx 18months old, she weighs less than 10kg, she is a podenco, so most likely will need work with recall. Lily is fostered in Devon. She is neutered, vaccinated. micro-chipped and has a PET Passport.

Please do get in touch if you can offer Lilly the home she deserves, please fill out our application form online: http://www.sos-animals.org.uk/Adoption-Form%282095965%29.htm
