Wimpy – 2 year old male Ibizan Hound (Podenco)

Wimpy is a 2 year old Podenco. He is neutered, vaccinated and passported. Wimpy was found by an English couple starving by the side of the road in Spain. Thankfully, they rescued him and brought him into our care. Wimpy is a very energetic boy who just loves people. He would love another dog to play with and a secure garden where he can have a good run round. He is very intelligent and would benefit from an activity like agility or running. He loves to be made a fuss of and really deserves a second chance at a good life. He walks well on the lead, and really enjoys long walks. Wimpy could do with some basic training and work with. He is good with dogs and older children/teenagers.

Chaplin – 3 year old male Ibizan Hound (Podenco) Cross

Chaplin is a 3 year old tan and white wire-haired Podenco deerhound cross. He is neutered, vaccinated and passported. Chaplin is a very handsome boy. He has had a really sad past, he was kept by a hunter who kept him tied up in a dark shelter, since he was a puppy. He was rarely fed and had been left to die. He was rescued by a wonderful lady in Sevilla, and he had a very bad skin infection, was malnourished and had tick fever. Thankfully, he has made a full recovery and is looking for a forever home.

Chaplin is very well behaved in the home, he seems grateful for everything! He is house trained, and is a gentle, quiet boy. He has a great character; he just needs some patience and love. He is very smart and is very willing to learn. Chaplin is good with other dogs and cats in the foster home. Spike – 7 month old male Ibizan Hound (Podenco)

Spike is a 7 month old tri-coloured Podenco puppy. He is neutered, vaccinated and passported. Spike was found with his sister, Monica, on the streets of Spain. He was thankfully rescued by kind volunteers. He then came into our care at SOS Animals UK. Spike is an energetic and playful boy and he loves his walks and playtime.

He is intelligent and very beautiful! Whilst he enjoys his playtime, he is more than happy to have a cuddle on the sofa too! He is good with cats, and is currently in foster with other dogs, cats and children.

Dylan – 6 year old male Spanish Mastiff Cross

Dylan is a 6 year old Spanish Mastiff cross. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and passported. Sadly Dylan has spent all his life at the shelter and would love to be in a proper family he can call his own getting lots of love and attention.

Dylan is such a sweet dog. He loves attention from people and to be handled. He walks like an angel next to you on the walks and has great recall. He’s an easy, chilled out guy who doesn’t seem to become stressed by anything. He is fine with other dogs he lives with an older calm female at the moment and they get on really well. He is a big boy, but very gentle and calm.

Scamp – 6 year old male Cross-Breed

Meet a very special boy called Scamp,he is 6 year old Cross-Breed . He was found in Spain in a very bad way, blind in one eye, torn ears and very scared. He has spent the last few years in the shelter looking for his forever home. Scamp is such a gentle, loving and affectionate boy, he just melts your heart when you meet him! Scamp is around 6 years old and is a cross-breed.

Scamp is a lovely, cuddly, quiet boy who just loves affection and enjoys his home comforts. He really is so easy-going! He would love a quiet, loving home where he can flourish and get all the love, care and attention he deserves. He is clean in the house, and very laid back. He does love his walks too, but loves lazing about and being cuddled.

Scamp will be happy living with another female dog or as an only dog. He is not great with other male dogs, we think that perhaps his ear and eye injury was caused by another dog attacking him, but with time and socialisation we think this can be worked on.

Scamp has tested positive for leishmania and will need daily tablets, he also needs eye-drops daily.

Scamp is, neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.
