Jenson – 8-10 month old male Cross-Breed
This is Jenson – He was found tied to a park railing next to a box containing 2 pups – Daisy and Duke, We are assuming he is their dad although he is only a pup himself and the pups do not resemble him at all! Jenson is around 8 – 10 months, he is calm and quick to learn, very clean in the house, walks lovely on the lead without pulling, happy to greet everyone he meets although he hasnt experienced much so can find some things a bit scary for example traffic!
He loves other dogs and animals, he is nervous around birds as he doesnt know what they are! He is a really cuddly dog, he adores fuss and attention and is extremly loyal. Can you offer this lovely lad a home? He didnt deserve to be abandonded and cannot understand where his family has gone! Jenson is Neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped de flead and wormed.

Duke – 6-8 week old male Cross-Breed
Please meet Delicious Duke! Duke is between 6 -8 weeks old and is a crossbreed of unknown parentage, We think he will be a medium to large breed dog and appears to be rotty cross shepherd although this is a complete guess! he Was found abandonded in a park in a box with his sister and what appears to be his dad tied up next to them.
Its a wonder the little tykes survived the cold damp weather we have been having! he has been de flead, wormed, vaccinated and microchipped and will need to be neutered as part of the adoption agreement. Duke hasnt had the best start to his little life – can you be the guardian angel he is looking for?

Baron – 9-10 year old male Shih Tzu
Please meet Beautiful Baron – What a lovely old fella he is! Baron is a reserved older gent who is very laid back and quite often you dont even notice he is there! He is fine with all other animals, of all shapes and sizes, Has lived with small children and is a total sweetheart. Baron loves his food – perhaps a little too much, and although he is older 9-10 years, he absolutly loves his walkies and will go for hours if you let him! Baron is clean in the house, very quiet apart from when he barks at the door, He is not destructive and is fine to be left on his own! He would be a lovely companion for anyone, He has a fantastic laid back and gentle nature! He is Fully vaccinated, neutered and microchipped, de flead and wormed!
Jenson needs a family who will show him that not everyone in this world will let him down….he has so much to give and will give a lifetime of love in return for a forever home….

Please meet the most delightful dog named Ben! Ben is a seven year old Labrador cross. Ben has been neutered, microchipped and vaccinated. Ben is living in a foster home in Colchester with cats and other dogs. Ben is a gentle and sweet lad who asks for nothing other than love and a comfy bed. He is such a gentleman and will be a fantastic addition to his new family. He travels well and is a quiet and calm lad. Here’s what his foster mum says about him:
Ben is a lovely dog to have around, he just fits in as i can imagine he will wherever he goes, he is clean in the house, gets on well with my dogs, is scared of my cat but will chase her in the garden. Ben is non-destructive when left, walks ok on a lead and has good recall off lead. He is a ready made dog who will bring lots of pleasure to whoever is lucky enough to adopt him.

Please meet Roxie! Roxie is a 2 and 1/2 year old crossbreed found on the streets on Saudi Arabia as a puppy. She has recently come to the uk where she will have more chance of finding a forever home. She therefore has an up to date pet passport as well as being neutered and microchipped. Roxie is a quiet and loving girl who adores people and has lived children. She absolutely cannot live with cats! Roxie would love a home with someone around for a good part of the day as she may need gentle reminding with house training.
Roxie has such a calm and loving nature and everyone who meets her falls in love with her and her sorrowful eyes.
Roxie would be fine to live with another dog and children aged six and over.
Roxie will make the most amazing addition to her new family and those who adopt her will be very lucky indeed.

Please meet beautiful buster! Buster is an approximately 3 year old Basset cross wire haired dachshund who came into rescue after he was being bullied by the other resident dogs. Buster is a charming and lovable chap who lives with cats and other dogs in his current foster home. He has lived with children. Buster is an easy going, chilled out dog who fitted straight in with his foster family. He is a little shy at first so a home with children aged 6 plus will be needed.
Buster has been walked off lead with a group of dogs and was happy to stay with his doggy friends and didn’t wander off. Buster would like a home ideally with another dog and with someone at home for a good part of the day. Buster has been microchipped, vaccinated and will be neutered before leaving for his new home.

Please meet skinny Minnie! Minnie is an approximately 9 week old staffordshire bull terrier cross who was found emaciated and roaming the streets. Minnie is the sweetest little pup who is currently living with children, cats and other dogs. She has been vaccinated and microchipped and will need to be neutered by her new owners once she is old enough. This will form part of the adoption agreement. Minnie must go to a home where there is already another resident dog in the home and with someone at home for a good part of the day. She can also live with children and cats.

Archie – 9 month old male Pomeranian cross Yorkshire Terrier
Please meet Adorable Archie!! Archie is a 9 month old pomeranian x yorkie we believe, He is a striking little fella with a huge personality and endless love and licks to offer his new family!! He is perfect with other dogs and can be homed with young children, He previously lived with a 18 month old who pulled him around and shared his basket, Archie did not bat an eyelid, he has also recently spent time with my nephew who is nearly 2 who chewed on his bone, again he wasnt remotely bothered, just a little bemused! He is currently being fostered with 9 other dogs of all shapes and sizes and copes very well, He isnt phased by big dogs, in fact he loves them! He is great to walk on lead, is perfectly clean in the house and is crate trained. When he arrived he was a chewer however he seems to be content with only chewing his nylabone now.
Archie is full of energy and would make the perfect addition to a family, He has lots of energy and love to give, however he does settle very well when told too! He absolutly loves meeting people and everyone is his friend! Archie has recently been shaved, His coat gets very long and needs a lot of grooming – It is very similar to that or a Lhasa Apsa. Pics of him before and after being clipped. All in All this is a fab little dog with lots of love and fun to give to his new family – Could that be you? He is neutered, fully vaccinated, deflead, wormed and microchipped!

Louise is one of our ‘Twelve dogs of christmas’ which are 12 dogs within our sanctuary whom we feel are a priority in terms of finding them new homes…either because they are older, nervous or struggling in kennels. Louise is confident and fantastic with people and other dogs, but kennel life really isn’t for Louise. She struggles with the cold, when all she wants is a nice warm home and a comfy bed. Louise is a 3 year old greyhound who has been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.
‘Hi, I’m Louise and I am desperate for a new home. I absolutely love people and children, and other dogs. I couldn’t live with cats or chickens but I would happily live with another dog. I’m a beautiful girl (if I do say so myself!) and I meet everyone with a wag and a lick. I ask for very little in return for all my love, I just need a nice comfy bed to sleep on and a family to give me a lot of cuddles. Simple! I’m a gentle and affectionate girl and I will lay at your feet lapping up as many belly rubs as you can provide! I’m not a dog who will need miles of walking each day, in fact a stroll around the park and back to bed is the life for me! The nice people here say I’m the most affectionate greyhound they have ever met! I know I’m not a cute puppy anymore but please don’t pass me by like all the others do. All I want is a home and family to call my own, is that really too much to ask?
