For further details regarding adopting a dog from Animal Rescue South Wales, please call Caaz on 01269 822611 or 07968 563722. Where possible we spay and neuter all pets before they go. We homecheck and/or get a vets reference, for all of our potential new homes and we ask for a donation to help towards costs. Once they have been rehomed we offer rescue backup for life, so if at any point the new home isn't working out or the new owners can no longer keep them then they come back to us, that way we can be sure that the animal is safe for life. We home animals throughout South Wales.

Max – 2 year old male Rottweiler

Max is a very handsome two year old Rottweiler. He is a great boy with a brilliant temperament. He doesn’t quite know his own size and thinks he is a 6 month old spaniel! He is getting on well with his training and his recall is improving by the day.

Max is very good with other animals but doesn’t like it if another dog barks or growls at him whilst he is on lead – this causes him to become quite protective. For this reason, Max needs a home with owners who have experience with larger breeds. Max has been neutered.
