Pippa – 5 year old female Shar Pei Cross
Pippa is a 5 year old Shar Pei cross. She has been at the kennels for nearly a year which is very sad as she is such a friendly loving dog. Pippa loves cuddles but needs to go to a home where somebody is around most of the time as she suffers from seperation anxiety if left for too long. Pippa has previously lived with younger children and would be happy to live with a female dog but is likely to chase a cat. Pippa loves walks and will require daily exercise.
Twiggy – 4-5 year old female Mastiff Cross
Twiggy is a really sweet slightly over weight mastiff cross, approx 4 to 5 years old. She is social with other dogs, she is also good with chickens, goats and small animals in passing. She is very friendly and is good with children but can be very strong on a lead so would need an older family.
Charlie – 2 year old male Bulldog cross English Mastiff
Charlie is a lovely natured American Bull Dog cross English Bull Mastiff, approx 2 years old. He has a very nice nature and walks very well on the lead. He is good with others dogs and loves to play, he also has a good recall when off the lead. We would love Charlie to find a new home somewhere without young children and hopefully with someone that has experience in large breeds.
Misty – 2 year old female Staffordshire Bull Terrier
Misty is a really lovely staffie, approx 2 years old. She is good with dogs with the correct introduction, good with cats and can be rehomed with children 10+. she is a little strong so will need to some on going training. She is also house trained.
Holly – 6-9 month old female Great Dane Cross
Holly is an adorable large cross-breed, possibly a Great Dane cross. She is only a baby, approx 6 to 9 months old. She’s a big, strong dog with lots of growing left to come. She’s so friendly, cuddly and affectionate. She’s quite bouncy so may be better with older children, as she may accidently knock little ones over.
Can you offer this beautiful girl a new home? Holly needs some more work with dogs and would also not be suitable to be rehomed with cats.
Kye – 1-2 year old male Collie
Hello everyone. My name is Kye and I am a male collie, approximately 1 to 2 years old. I think I’d better start by saying that unfortunately I am deaf. Some say this is a big disability in a dog, but I don’t agree! All I need is a special home with someone who is willing to put in some time to help train me. The staff and behaviourists here say I am an intelligent dog, and I’m already learning some sign language to help my new owner communicate with me. As you can see from the photo, I behave very well with other dogs.
I would love a new home with another well balanced, trained dog who I can follow around and learn from – they can be my ‘ears’! Ideally my new family would be collie experienced and active – I love my walks and to play. I am a very friendly and have loads of love to give – I think I’d make a rewarding pet. I would be happy to live with older children, but younger children may not understand that I cannot hear and sudden movements may startle me.
The behaviourists here will offer on-going support and help with my training to my new owner. Well, that’s all about me! If you think I’m a good match for you please give the staff here a call.

Jay is a blue brindle and white Staffordshire Bull Terrier who came to us as a stray. He’s approximate 3 years old. Jay is very loving and affectionate with people but will chase cats. Jay meets other dogs well, but would prefer to have all of the attention for himself in a home environment!! Jay is very endearing and has a very cute tongue which permanently sticks out!! Pop down to us and meet this lovely boy for yourself!!!!
Jerry – 3 year old male Greyhound
Jerry is a gorgeous brindle ex-racing greyhound boy, who’s approx 3 years old, with a very sweet nature. He loves his new kennel mate and will happily follow her lead. Jerry is kind and amenable, doesn’t appear to mind other breeds and walks well on the lead.
Kim – 10 year old female Cairn Terrier
Kim is a lovely Cairn terrier who has been handed into us due to her owner becoming unwell and unfortunately being unable to keep her. She is 10 years old and has spent her whole life with one older lady owner. She hasn’t had that much experience with children but she is very good with other dogs. She needs a loving quiet home, where she will get plenty of cuddles.
Chunky – 4 year old male Greyhound
Chunky is a handsome male ex-racing greyhound. He is 4 years old and very friendly -, his favorite pastime is cuddling! He is very well mannered with other greyhounds and recently enjoyed attending our treasure hunt walk.
Chunky is very good in the house and clean too, but will need company and doesn’t like being left alone.
