Lucy - 1 1/2 year old female Rottweiler

Meet Lucy, a 1 1/2 year old female Rottweiler who is looking for a new home asap. She has lived with 3 children and another dog before (female) with no problems.

She is a lovely small Rottweiler who is very, very friendly with everyone but does drool more than any dog alive! Can you offer her a loving new home?

Lucy - 8 year old female Staffordshire Bull Terrier

Lucy is a brindle and white female Staffordshire Bull Terrier aged approximately 8 years old who we have had as a stray several times. Unfortunately this time her owner hasn’t bothered to claim her. We know that she has previously lived with another dog, but we would prefer to rehome her as the only pet in the home.

We think she will be fine with children, but would prefer to rehome her with older children. She is believed to be entire as she tends to stray when in season (and yes has had pups!). She is micro-chipped but believed not vaccinated - we tracked down her vet who said the only treatment she has had was in January for Chronic pododermititis. Can you offer this lovely girl a home where she can be treated as she should and cherished for the rest of her life?

Sasha - 6 years + female Staffordshire Bull Terrier

Meet Sasha, she’s an older brindle Staffordshire Bull Terrier female who is looking for a home to call her own sooner rather than later! Sasha is a lovely girl, little noisy in kennels, but well, who wants to call their home a kennel anyway!

She has lived with children in the past with no problems but we don’t know whether she has previously lived with other dogs. Can you offer her a loving new home?

Gemma - 4 year old female Rottweiler

Gemma is a female Rottweiler aged approximately 4 years old. She has just been spayed as she was coming down with Pyometra. She desperately needs to find a new home by Thursday 7th/Friday 8th August at 4pm, can you offer her a loving new home? She is a lovely looking black and tan typical Rottweiler.

She has obviously been mistreated in the past and so she requires a kind understanding home. She is looking for an experienced home as she is a little nervous with strange men when in a confined space, i.e. a kennel, and in the same situation although still scared with women, she will only back up and not react (bark). Outside she is fine, if a little timid.

She has been seen by a behaviourist who states that Gemma could be worked with and improved with experienced owners and we will expect her to be taken to a behaviourist by her new owners. As a stray we don’t have any history of her and how she would be with other dogs, but she seemed fine with her finders dog.

Can you offer Gemma the chance in life to live in a loving enviroment to bring the best out in this lovely girl?

George - 3 year old male Staffordshire Bull Terrier

George is a brindle male Staffordshire Bull Terrier aged approximately 3 years old. He desperately needs to find a new home within the next 2-3 days as he is in immediate danger. He is a lovely dog! He is a fantastic dog with a great sense of humour that does not deserve to die! He has a wonderful nature, “proper” Staffordshire Bull Terrier, not a long legged one etc.

He is located close to Swindon and is a really lovely lad. We don’t know what he would be like in a home with other dogs, although he has not reacted to those in the pound. He would be best suited with children over 8 years old as we don’t know his history, but his temperament is great.

LJ - 12-18 month old male Staffordshire Bull Terrier

Meet LJ (ref 2633), he is a Staffordshire Bull Terrier aged between 12-18 months old white in colour with a black patch over his eye who URGENTLY needs to find a new home within the next few days.

He is great with people and as a bit of a bouncy lad, although not too bouncy, he would be fine in a home with older children (10 years +).Within the pound, we can’t mix the dogs, however, he has not shown any signs of aggression to other dogs nor cats.

He has been in pound since 14th May but is coping well and is still incredibly friendly, he just wants a belly rub all of the time (as demonstrated below!).

LJ investigating the grass!

LJ enjoying his belly rub above!

Twirl - 1 year old female Staffordshire Bull Terrier Cross

Meet Twirl (ref 2647), she is a Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross female aged approximately 1 year old, we think she probably has some Jack Russell. She is a beautiful chocolate colour with some brindle who URGENTLY needs to find a new home. She is enormously friendly and very bouncy!

She has been fine with other dogs in the kennels, however, she would need to be fully introduced to be certain. We have no problems or worries with her, she will make someone a lovely companion. She does however need to find a new home urgently, can you offer her a place in your home and in your heart?

Indiana - 1 1/2 year old female Husky Cross

Indiana (ref 2639) is a Husky cross female (she may be crossed with a Northern Inuit also known as Utonagan) aged approximately 18 months old. She has been unsocialised in her short life so far and is very unhappy in kennels as she is getting very stressed and so we desperately need to find her a home ASAP. She is looking for an adult only, quiet home with experienced owners and would ideally suit someone in a rural location.

She has interacted with a male Husky and wasn’t interested in him, she managed to warn him off when he got too close. From her body language, we think she would be fine living with another dog who is quite calm. We consulted a behaviourist to judge the right home for her and they have said in the right, quiet, calm home she will make someone a lovely pet.

She just needs time and space with a dedicated owner, it could be a while before seeing this lovely girls true personality, but the results we’re sure will be worth it. She prefers women, but would be fine living with an experienced couple. She really isn’t coping well in kennels, can you offer this girl the home and environment she is looking for?
