Bruno – 3-5 year old male Staffordshire Bull Terrier

Now have beautiful SBT boy called Bruno. Owner did report missing but then neglected to pick him up. We know he lived with children although not certain of age. Not known what like with other dogs although not reacting at all in kennels. Would be careful about rehoming with another dog but only because unknown male staff – would consider if could be mixed beforehand.

Very friendly, well behaved and calm dog. Not a bouncy staff! Walks well on lead and loves cuddles.

Einstein – 14 m month old male Staffordshire Bull Terrier Cross

“Einie” is about 14 months old, entire male staff cross – wonder if American bulldog looking at the size of his head and chest. He’s quite squat like the Johnson type but not jowly. Very friendly and enthusiastic! He doesn’t know how big he is and is a bit of a bull in a china shop with pretty much everything. He does know a few basic commands but is fairly strong on the lead. Is just into everything, wants to meet everyone and investigate all that’s around him.

He has shown no sign of aggression towards other dogs but can’t be rehomed with them realistically as he’s just too big and bouncy – most wouldn’t want to live with him!

Ditto with cats and kids – He’s very friendly but is going to need all of someone’s time to keep him busy. He would love to do some training and focus that inquisitive nature of his.

He appears to be quite healthy except for a broken tooth at the front – this is now discoloured (all the rest are shiny white) and it may be it has to be removed when he’s neutered.

Any possibilities both for lost dogs or possible home/rescue space contact me on details below as always

Edward – 4-5 year old male Staffordshire Bull Terrier

Edward is a friendly well behaved dog that was found as a stray. He walks fairly well on the lead and knows some basic commands. He is a staffordshire bull terrier but is a bit bigger than a “proper” staff.

He is extremely friendly and doesn’t pay any attention to other dogs but as we do not have any history on him we cannot rehome him with other animals or young children (under 10 years old).

If you are interested in Edward please contact Alison, Glyn or Kay at Swindon Borough Council on 01793 466014 or awaine@swindon.gov.uk or geamus@swindon.gov.uk

Bruno – 8-12 month old male Boxer cross Staffordshire Bull Terrier

Dark Brindle with White. Bruno is a young dog, probably 8-12 months old. He is a very friendly dog and has not been reactive to other dogs in our pound. Unfortunately as he is a stray and we have no history we cannot rehome Bruno with other dogs, cats or children under 10.

He does not have much training either! But is bright and picks up things quite quickly. He would suit an active home that is prepared to give him both the physical and mental stimulation he needs to keep him happy. He is an affectionate boy and will make someone a lovely dog.

All potential homes will be home checked and must arrange to have Bruno castrated as soon as possible as part of his adoption agreement. He is microchipped and has his first vaccination.

Holly – 6-8 month old female Cross-Breed

Holly is black and tan crossbreed bitch. On smaller side of medium. I think some rottie in there but much finer and more delicate. Only 6-8 months old. Again, really lovely temperament and also seems to be good with other dogs.

PLEASE NOTE – we do not have any history for either of these dogs so are unable to rehome them to families with children under 8 or people with other pets. Although both appear to have excellent temperaments and have been very good with other dogs, they are strays and so have no background.
Both will be microchipped and have at least their first vaccination.

Boris – 1 year old male Staffordshire Bull Terrier

Boris is a castrated male staff. He has the usual lovely staff temperament and appears to be good with other dogs too. Please ignore all the leads, my colleague was using a balance lead to teach him to walk without pulling – and the metal lead was in case he is a lead chomper (he isn’t)! He’s only a couple of years old and is a real charmer!

Bobby – 1 year old male Staffordshire Bull Terrier

Bobby is a stray dog so unfortunately we have no history on him. Although he is extremely friendly (he waggs his whole body to greet people!) and appears to be good with other dogs, we are unable to rehome to families with young children (under 10) and other pets.

He has only basic training but is quick to learn like all Staffordshires and loves to play ball.

Bobby will be microchipped, neutered and have at least his first vaccination.

It is £50 to adopt a dog from Swindon Borough Council. A homecheck is required and all family members must come to meet Bobby beforehand.
