Bailey – 7 year old female Staffordshire Bull Mastiff

Bailey, the Bullmastiff is a 7 year old female and is up to date on all her vacc’s and is chipped. She is looking for a new home due to not being able to live harmoniously with the other animals in the house. She is fantastic with people and children – her only downfall is other animals including cats and dogs. Bailey is dog aggressive, so only a home that has experience with Bullmastiffs or other large breeds will be considered.
Poor Bailey is currently feeling quite depressed as she is living in a garage and her old owner would love her to go to a home where she deserves so much more. She is a happy, relaxed, friendly, beautiful dog (we know Bailey well and she comes highly reccommended as a wonderful dog). She is housetrained, good in the car and non-destructive.

Bailey now needs an urgent long-term fosterer or forever home, she is not happy at all where she is. If you become a long term fosterer the rescue will pay for vet bills and insurance cover and the foster just need to pay for food and yearly booster vaccinations. For more information please call Sophie on 0773 444 2785 or go to the website for more details on www.tarrs.org.uk

This really is a super dog, who has been no trouble at all to foster. He deserves to find a forever home with people who will love him. Jessie – 18 month old female Whippet cross Collie

Jessie is an 18 month old Whippet cross Collie. She has found herself looking for a new home due to a marriage breakup, she was being left at home for long periods of time. She is a friendly playful girl who just wants to love and please you, she is obedient and should be easy to train. Her previous owner had just started agility and she was proving fast and accurate.

She loves her toys and will do almost anything for a treat!. She will need a home that will exercise her and use her brain as she is bright and active. She has good recall and travels well in the car. She is in foster with another dog and with careful introduction could live with a male dog, but she would be happy to have you all to herself. She is good with children, but as still young and bouncy we would prefer children to be 10 plus. Jessie has been spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. Freddo – 6 1/2 year old male Yorkshire Terrier cross Chihuahua

Freddo is a six and a half year old male, neutered Yorkshire Terrier x Chihuahua. Sadly, his owner died this month. We know that he suffered a car accident when he was only one year old, and injured his back legs, but thankfully there are no long lasting effect to this injury. He is a delightfully friendly little terrier. Alert, well behaved, and does not pull on the lead. He seems friendly towards other dogs but will run after rabbits in the field, so you just need to keep an eye on him when off lead. He has brilliant recall but would need further training and socialising to keep him this way. He is friendly and loving to his fosterer who has only had him for a couple of days so far. He wags his tail to welcome her and is very affectionate. He came from a very loving home and would like that again. He has a healthy appetite, and has recently had a dental due to some black back teeth, but he is doing very well. If you can offer Freddo a home, please get in touch.

Ollie – 11 month old male English Bull Terrier Cross

This is Ollie he is approximately 11 months old and is an English Bull Terrier Cross. We are not sure what the cross is but maybe whippet or jack Russell as he is not very big. Ollie is super friendly a happy boy who loves to play, he is great with other dogs and is in foster with children. He enjoys his walks and has fantastic recall always checking back to see where you are. Ollie has had an operation on a back leg, he was injured as a small puppy but his owners didn’t bother to get him treated at the vets. He was taken from them by animal welfare and we were asked if we could help him.

He now has a ‘mechanical’ limp as the leg is slightly shorter but is in no pain and it doesn’t bother him at all, just adds character! Ollie is housetrained, vacinated, microchipped, castrated and wormed ready for his forever family. If you would like to find out more about Ollie please give me a call he will make someone a super loyal friend.too.grescue.co.uk

Dexter – 2 year old male Labrador cross Staffordshire Bull Terrier

Dexter is a 2 year old, neutered, brindle and white Labrador cross Staffordshire Bull Terrier. He is quite an undersocialised dog. He is very affectionate and loves a cuddle. He needs further training as he does get over excited and has a habit of mouthing your hands. He is very clean in his kennel and not destructive.

He is not suitable to be re homed with cats. He is strong on the lead and needs training. As he is still young and boisterous he should be re homed with teenagers. He would be a great dog for someone who has time to train him and give him plenty of exercise.
