Charlie – 7 year old male Jack Russell Terrier Cross
Beautiful Charlie was a stray who was chipped but his owners couldn’t be traced. His chip details say he is 7yrs old. The pound he was taken to described him as a JRT cross but I think he’s more like a foxhound cross staffy. (medium in size) He’s been vaccinated, flea & worm treated & is microchipped. He will be neutered shortly. Despite is poor treatment prior to rescue charlie is very friendly, laid back & good natured. He seems fine with other dogs. (Plays well with 4month old lab cross gus).
Despite being 7yrs old & VERY underweight he still seems pretty energetic. He travels VERY well, pretty much sleeps most of the time although the cheeky little monkey does like to sit in the drivers seat when you get out of the car
He’s Pretty good on the lead not pulling much & responds well to basic commands. Not yet kid or cat tested. Would imagine he would be fine with children over 7yrs. All he needs now is warmth, food, love & cuddles Can anyone offer him this???
Gus – 4 month old male Labrador Cross
Gus is a 4 month old male Labrador Cross. He’s Vaccinated, flea & worm treated, microchipped but not yet neutered. (voucher will be provided for this if not done before re-homed)

Poor little Gus found himself in a pound & Despite being chipped his owners couldn’t be traced. Gus is a typical friendly bouncy little pup who wants nothing more than to be around people. At the moment his favourite game is running round the house with his lead in his mouth or playing tug-o-war with it & charlie (another rescue) So far he seems to knows basic commands, is quite good on the lead (but does likes to chew it!!) he responds fairly well when called, Still needs a bit of work on his house training. Is good with other dogs (just wants to play with them) Not tested with cats yet but I’m sure he will be ok once introduced.

He travels VERY well. Plays with toys. I’ve not kid tested him but he’s so friendly I’m sure he’ll be fine as long as there old enough for him not to knock over!! In fact I think he would really benefit from being part of a family with children who will enjoy spending large amounts of there day playing with him & offering him the love & attention he craves & deserves after his lonely stint in the pound!!

Teddy is a 2 year old male Labrador cross Staffordshire Bull Terrier. He was rescued from a pound and due to be put to sleep imminently. He is very friendly with people, adults, other dogs when out and at the vets, we think he’ll be fine with children, seems to want to play with cats but no aggression.

He showed some aggression towards other dogs when in the pound, but this may just be the pound environment. Teddy has been saved from euthanasia and is now in a foster home in Spilsby. He’s never shown any aggression or food aggression towards people. He’s been very clean in his kennel and seems to be house-trained, walks well on extending lead but pulls a little on a short lead. He hasn’t been allowed off lead so recall hasn’t been tested except on extending lead which is good. He travels really well and is such a little charmer will make an excellent family pet.
