Evie
Evie is a very friendly and affectionate 3 years old Labrador cross. She is good with both male and female strangers and would be better suited in a home with children 8yrs plus.
She is good with other dogs but dislikes cats. Evie is an active dog who loves to play with balls.

Ruby is an energetic 8 month old Springer X Jack Russell terrier. She is a looking for an active home with owners who have lots of time for her. Ruby is a really clever little dog and works very well for toys and food - she has the potential to do well at obedience or agility.
Ruby does need people around most of the time at first, as she does not know how to cope when left alone at the moment.
Ruby could live with confident children no younger than 8 years old. She is social with other dogs, so could possibly live with the right dog.

This is Benji an active 7 1/2 year old English Springer Spaniel who is looking for a new home. Benji enjoys playing ball, and has a good retrieve, tennis balls being his favourite. He is also food motivated and has a good understanding of basic training. He knows sit, down and has a very good stay.
Benji is an energetic boy and doesn’t act his age! He is an affectionate dog in the home and is fully house trained.
Benji does not want to intereact with other dogs. He chooses to ignore them if he sees them when walking. Benji will need to be exercised in a fairly low dog populated area.
He can live with children 16 + and no other pets.

Kiki is a 1 year and 4 months old Collie cross looking for an experienced, active home. She came into the Blue Cross as her owner was having a baby and felt that Kiki deserved more time.
Kiki is a really bright, clever girl, with a good understanding of basic commands. She is very food motivated and is a quick learner. She is very active and enjoys walking accross the fields on a flexi lead and loves playing with her toys. Tennis balls being a favourite, she also enjoys a good tug of war.
Kiki does not get on well with other dogs, altough she can be distracted on to her toys. She will need a secure garden where she can play safely off lead. Kiki is housetrained, travel wells and is very affectionate with everyone she meets. She will not be rehomed with cats.
Kiki can be homed with confident children 12 years and over.

Winston is a delightful 3 month old Mastiff X. He is very bright and generally well behaved and is full of character.
Winston will be quite a large and powerful dog when fully grown, so will need an owner who will be responsible and take time to train him and socialise him properly while he is young. Winston is responding very well reward based training and has bags of potential.

Molly is a very active outgoing Terrier X. She is approx 4 years old and came into the centre as a stray, so has an unknown background.
Molly loves cuddles and attention and will be a great companion in the right home. However, she will need a home with a very secure garden as she is very interested in small furries and is easily distracted. For this reason Molly will not be homed to families with small pets or cats.
Molly can get a little over excited when playing and therefore would not be suitable for families with very young children. However, in the right home, we feel Molly will settle in well and become a much loved companion.

Pilot is a 9 months old lively Rottweiler X German Shepherd. He will need an experienced owner who will be able to continue training him using reward based methods to bring out the best in him. Pilot has lots of energy, so will need a home with someone around most of the time and able to take him on long interesting walks.
Pilot can be wary of some men, and will need time to get to know and trust potential new owners. He would be better placed as the only pet, he can be good around other dogs, but because of his size and strength can be a little too much for some dogs to cope with.
Pilot will only be placed in an all adult household, or one with older teenagers as his play behaviour can escalate around younger people, as happened in his previous home. He has not yet finished growing and will be a big and powerful dog when fully grown, so will need a responsible person capable of handling and bringing out the best in him.
This lovely young dog has lots to offer, but just needs the right environment in which to flourish.

Rudi is a very bright 1 year old Lurcher. He came into the Centre because of a change in circumstances and now needs a lovely new home.
Rudi is a very playful dog, his favourite game is chasing a ball and this enables him to burn off his excess energy. Rudi does get a little excited when playing and can jump up so will not be suited to a family with younger children as he is quite a big chap.
Rudi also wants to chase small animas so cannot live with cats or other small pets. He is good with some other dogs, but would be better placed as the only pet as he does like to have all the attention.
Rudi is still a youngster and needs someone who will continue his training, he has lots to offer and will make a great companion.

Rocky is a Labrador x Whippet he is 9 years old. He came into our care as his owner sadly died. He is a little over weight but he is still active.
He has lived with another dog and cats. Rocky doesn’t ask for much he is hoping to find a new home with someone who will give him company.
