Maggot – 4 month old female Patterdale Terrier

Maggot is a 4 month old Patterdale Terrier. She is a normal, lively, happy puppy and loves to meet everyone. She will need someone at home most of the time to help with her house training which is going well at the moment. Although a little reluctant to go into her crate, she does settle in it well as long as she has her toys and chews. Her new owners will need to take her to dog training. She is fine with other dogs but does show a lot of interest in rabbits. We don’t know how she is with cats but she should be young enough to be trained to get on with them.

Maggot is very sweet and will make an ideal family dog.

Dolly – 10 month old female Jack Russell Terrier

Dolly, who is 10 months old, is a lovely, friendly Jack Russell Terrier bitch. She has recently been spayed and is microchipped. Dolly gets on well with other dogs of all sizes and will make a lovely addition to your family. She will need to go to training classes and, as Dolly is a puppy, she will need someone at home most of the time. Dolly is suitable for a family home but we do not know how she will be with cats.

Milly and Jilly – 8 year old and 4 year old female Maltese Terrier and Yorkshire Terrier

Milly and Jilly came to us after their elderly owner died and there was no family to take care of them. We would like to home them together. We are told that Milly and Jilly have both been spayed. They are also now microchipped.

Milly and Jilly were brought to us by the young man who used to help the lady that died. He was very concerned over their future as he knew how much she had loved them. Unfortunately she had recently been struggling to care for them properly and they have both had to have knots clipped from their coats.

Milly is an 8-year-old Maltese Terrier; a friendly and happy little dog who is not looking at her best at the moment but will with a little bit of time be back to looking beautiful. Jilly is a 4-year-old Yorkshire Terrier and is a lovely girl.

Max – 2 year old male Staffordshire Bull Terrier Cross

Max is a medium sized black and white Staffie cross. We know he was born in 2008 but we do not have any other information on him. Max loves people and is also good with other dogs. He could live with another dog but it would need to be of a similar or larger size as he does enjoy to play but he can be quite rough!

We think Max may be too boisterous to live with young children or cats. If you are looking for a friendly, happy dog, Max is the one for you.

Dot – 2 year old female Border Collie

Dot is a 2 year old female Border Collie.

Dot is a lovely short-haired Border Collie, who is about 2 years old. She is white with black markings and has pricked ears. Dot is a failed sheepdog and previously lived on a farm. She has settled well into living in the house and is now housetrained. She enjoys the company of other dogs of all sizes and will happily play with them.

Dot needs someone at home all day as she can get up to mischief if left – she has a particular liking for chewing up paper, letters, toilet rolls, anything of that type – she is not fussy. Dot walks on a lead and knows to sit but would benefit from going to dog training classes. She does have a habit of jumping up as she is so pleased to see you; because of this and her life on the farm she would be better in a home without young children. Dot is spayed and microchipped.
