Molly – 7-8 months old female Border Collie

Molly was picked up as a stray, she is around  7-8 months. she is a fantastic girl VERY lively and bright.  Molly is quick and clever and would make a really good agility/obedience dog.
molly
She is a lovely black and white with the most lovely juicy black eyes, she has a wonderful nature. Molly deserves a wonderful doggy orientated home life and we are sure she would just love to be doing doing lots to help her forget all about her horrible start in her life.  Molly has been first vaccinated, wormed and flea’d.

Trixie – 5 month old female Collie Cross

Trixie is yet another pound dog.  She is a little petite collie x lab, around the age of 5 months.  She is smooth coated with a lovely black shiney coat and a dab of white on her chest.  She has the most wonderful nature you could wish for, excellent around dogs and cats not bad with the horses, and is a little gem.
trixie
But now to her down point   at some point this year she has had a rear leg broken, don’t know how or really when, but for sure she has not had any medical attention to it, so it has healed with a bony lump and she limps  The vet has said that in time (with walking and building up muscle) her little leg should be ok.  She is also a  little bit overshot but that does not bother her eating at all.  She is first vaccinated, wormed, flea’d and chipped.  Trixie will require spaying when a bit older. We would prefer Trixie to go to a home with another dog as she does love doggy company.  So in this nation of dog lovers, is anyone out there willing to give this little girl a chance in life – we saved her – its up to you .. can you lead walk to help build her up, can you give her the lovely and attention she has so obviously been without so far?

From the pound to us – she now certainly deserves that chance in life to be happy – please consider Trixie …

Juno – 5 month old male Border Collie

JUNO  is a lovely 5 month (approx) little boy.  He is a tri colour with merle legs and he still has his lovely puppy fluff.  Juno was picked up as a stray.  He loves company and enjoys his cuddles.  He is a wee bit shy around new dogs and hasn’t seen much of this big old world, but he is just such a very gentle and sweet boy.
juno
Juno hated the pound, so when you look at his sad, sad face behind the pound bars (which NO puppy deserves) make sure you look into HIS eyes – he was so scared – but now he is saved and going to get the best home in the world.  Juno has been first vaccinated, wormed and flea’d.

Bella – 2 year old female German Shepherd Dog

Bella has come to us out of the dog pound.  Previous owners surrendered her – but why oh why to the pound where there is a possibility of pts??   Since Bella has been with us we cannot fault her.  At some time she has had alot of training put into her, either that or she is just a naturally obedient dog!  Her obedience is lovely.
bella
She even does neat ‘heelwork’.  She sits, downs, gives paws and off lead she just stays so close to you all the time, she is very loyal – in fact when Keith (my partner) walks her he has not had her on a lead once.  She meets and greets dogs and people fine.  We think a nice working home would be ideal (maybe an obedience home as she is obviously a natural?, but a pet home would be equally nice for her).  Bella is also brilliant around horses and is good with children, not tested with cats yet.  She travels very well.  Bella is spayed, first vaccinated and chipped.

Sammy – 6 year old male Collie Cross

Sammy is a 6 year old male Collie cross who has come from Sheffield pound where he was due for put to sleep.  Valerie (fosterer) saved him, and currently has him. He is very obedient – is excellent on recall and is good with most other dogs.  He is extremely clean. He is great on a walk and is toy mad.  Please can you offer this genuine dog a loving new home?

Taffy – 11 year old male Welsh Border Collie

My name is Taffy.  I’m looking for a loving new home as my owner has a terminal illness and is unable to care for me now.
taffy
I’m an 11-year-old Welsh Border Collie.  Despite being a bit older I’m in perfect health and I’m very energetic and love long walks.  I’m neutered, microchipped, house-trained and my vaccinations are up‑to‑date.  I did have a flea allergy but now this is under control my beautiful coat is quickly returning to its former glory (as you can see, my hair is a little shorter on my back half).
I adore human company – I love being stroked and talked to so I’m a very good companion dog.  I’m good with children but sometimes chase cats, ducks!  Because I was attacked by another dog when I was a puppy I need to be introduced to new dogs slowly – being of a certain age I just don’t always appreciate it when big dogs bound up to me! Like a lot of dogs I don’t like loud bangs (fireworks, thunder) but I have a couple of funny quirks of my own:  I don’t like being watched while I’m eating and I shiver with excitement when I’m anticipating something nice (like walkies).

Please can you give me a new home?

Tess – 1 year old female Rough Collie Cross Border Collie

Tess is a beautiful girl with a wonderful tri-coloured, glossy coat. She is a lovely natured dog. Housetrained, obedient and walks to heel. Very good around children and teenagers. Friendly towards other dogs. Travels well by car.
tess
There is only one reason for requesting Tess goes to another good home, and that is because her previous owners were finding it difficult to give her the amount of excerise she needs (because of work/school commitments).  She had done some chewing of the carpet and sofa, but her previous owners believed this was because she got bored, not because she was just naughty!
It was with much regret that they had to rehome her, but they knew that she deserved more than they were able to give her. Can you offer Tess a new forever home, where somebody is around most of the day and can give her lots of exercise?

Tess has had her:    First vacinations, Spayed, Microchipped, Frontlined & Wormed

Holly – 5 year old female Collie Cross

Poor little Holly…this little girl was a lonely stray who found herself locked in a pound and was placed on the put to sleep list. Luckily for Holly somebody kindly rescued her and now she needs a loving new home where she can be loved again like she once was many years ago…
holly
She is a real sweetie and is very eager to please. She loves a little cuddle and stroke and will come to you for a gentle pat. Have you got a loving, fun and kind home where Holly can become party of the family and become a loyal and faithful companion?

Tessa – 13 months old female Border Collie

Tessa is a beautiful black and white long coated girlie and so far she seems to be a lovely girl.  Tessa is spayed, chipped, frontlined and first vaccination done.  She wasn’t bothered about horses, likes people, and met a young child and wasn’t phased by that. Photo was taken on miserable, wet day at horse stables!
tessa
Update 11/11/8: Tessa is a delight very loving and bubbly, we have no known history as she was picked up as a stray along with Tina who we believe is her sister, and then put into the pound for 7 days, no one claimed them .. so between Four Paws and us they were saved from the compulsory Put to Sleep!

Tessa would be best off in a ‘collie savie’ home, she seems to have a wonderful nature, and so far she greets everyone with lots of wiggles and licks….. see website for more details www.valgraysbcrescue.webs.com

Robbie – 11 year old male Shetland Sheepdog

Robbie is the most wonderful little dog.  We are looking for a very special home for dear Robbie.  Sadly his mistress died and unfortunately her partner is now unable to look after him.  This little boy may be 11 years old, but he is still a strong and healthy boy!  Last Sunday he did a 3 hour walk over Ashdown Forest with us and several collies!   So, we are looking for a home where someone will be around most of the time, he must have some lovely long walks and most of all he must be cared for and loved as he was through his life.
robbie
You must be aware that he will also need alot of grooming due to his very full, thick sheltie coat.   Robbie is obedient, cute, loving and full of life!   During any walks he just trots along beside you, he is so good.  Robbie has passed the Kennel Club Good Citizen tests, he used to do agility and regularly attended East Grinstead Dog Training Club.   He can live with another dog or on his own, as long as the other would never bully him he will be fine.  Can you give this gorgeous boy the twilight years he deserves.  Robbie is castrated.  Please only call if you are that ‘special’ home.
