Scooby – 9 month old male Labrador Cross
Scooby came to us the other day having been ‘dumped’ on a lady who knew far to much about him. He’s a Labrador cross possible Mastiff and about 9 months old. A big lad the picture makes him look smaller. A big baby who hasn’t an ounce of training. Will make a lovely companion once trained and has time spent bonding with him. A bit grumbly if you touch him whilst eating but eats like he’s starved. Scooby will get bigger and would prefer to go to someone with experience of training and large breeds and would like this soon. He does have his cuddles and kisses moments where he attempts to be a lap dog! Sociable with other dogs but comes across as very over powering for most at first. A beautiful young man.
Honey – 9 month old female Red Setter cross Poodle
Honey is a 9 month old Red Setter cross Poodle, currently the size of a Setter. The older lady who bought her in only had her 4 days after she got her as a spare of the moment after suddenly losing her husband and needed company – but couldn’t walk her.
She has been around children from 3 years up and was very well behaved, letting them take things from her mouth and playing with her etc. Shes good with dogs, but never lived with a cat. Would suit an active family as this is what she has missed having originally come from one, given up to the older lady as they already had 2 large dogs and a growing family.

Angel is a 6 year old Jack Russell Terrier. Quite a nervous girl would suit an older couple/single person. She came to us as her elderly owner said she would nip them when someone rang the door. Her owners said she has always been jumpy at noises and things happening suddenly. She was confident in her own environment. Gets on well with other dogs but not cats and hasn’t had much to do with children.
Daisy – 4 year old female Labrador cross Rottweiler
Daisy is a 4 year old Lab cross Rottweiler. A very nice dog who loves other dogs, has met the occasional cat, lived with chickens and been around children as young as babies upwards. She is up for rehoming due to her owners ill health and loss of a job.
Missy – 9 week old female Cross-Breed
Missy is a 9 week old crossbreed puppy who will probably grow to a medium – large size adult. She has already been to 5 homes! And now she is with us lets try and find her a forever home. Her homes have only lasted days at a time due to looking cute but not realizing what owning a puppy means. Currently living with the Rotti girls.
Kayla, Mia, Stacey and Kissy – 10 week old female Rottweilers
These four lovelies are the left overs from a litter that couldn’t be sold. Let that be a reminder to breeders. All girls and are 10 weeks old. Genuine owners only to agree to having them spay. Beautiful girls your typical puppies. Lots of cuddles, kisses, puppy breath and poo!!
Sasha – 18 month old female Staffordshire Bull Terrier Cross
Sasha is a Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross who came to us as a stray a couple of weeks ago. Approx 18months old. She is lovely with people. Unfortunately not dog or cat friendly. She could be homed with older children. Her previous history is not known. Has a very big appetite and loves her walks.
Scampie – 1 year old male Cross-Breed
Scampie is a Toy Poodle, Bichon, Yorkie cross breed. Only just over a year old. A right live wire and lovely dog but bit the neighbors child (reason unknown). The owner also has children that Scampie has grown up with but was worried he may nip them. So to go with older children (not toddlers etc) likes other dogs and has lived with a cat since he was a puppy.
Bonnie – 4 1/2 year old female Cross-Breed
Bonnie is a 4 1/2 year old Labrador, Staffy, Collie cross breed. Has come to us due to owners moving where no dogs allowed. Originally we rescued her from a pound where she was going to be put sleep in 2006. She has now been returned. Good with other dogs, no cats and has been used to children 5 years +. Very sweet natured.
Barney – 14 month old male Labrador Cross
Barney is a lovely 14 month old Labrador cross with possibly Harrier Hound/Beagle. He has come to us due to his owners moving where dogs aren’t allowed. He is good with dogs (little and large) has lived with children from 6 years up but is no good around cats! Timid at first but soon settled in.
