Sasha – 10 month old female Labrador Cross

Sasha is approx 10 months old, and is a medium sized Labrador cross. She is very lively and bouncy so would suit an active home where she gets a lot of time running about outdoors. She is very sociable with other dogs and loves their company and would be happy to live with another dog that she can play with.

Sasha is very affectionate and does like to cuddle up to people. She enjoys playing with balls, sticks and cuddly toys. This is a good fun dog for all, although is too boisterous for young children. She is currently living with 3 children from 6 years old. Sasha needs training on the lead as she pulls very strongly. Sasha will not suit a family where there are full time workers as she is only a puppy and needs company, exercise and training so consider whether you have enough time for her before you apply.

Bentley – 11 month old male American Bulldog

Bentley is a smaller-than-average American Bulldog puppy 11 months old. This splendid dog has an absolutely super temperament, he loves everyone he meets and wants to cuddle up to you whilst you watch TV. He has been brought up from a puppy living with 2 young children and really loves them, although now that he is growing up into a big powerful dog he is rather too boisterous for young children. He is very playful, he is very happy as long as he has lots of toys and chews. Bentley is dog friendly and just wants to play and run about madly. Being a heavy lad, he is too boisterous for slender dogs like greyhounds but loves playing with the heavier types such as Rottweilers, Staffordshire Bull Terriers, Boxers, Labradors.

He will need a lot of exercise, he pulls strongly on the lead and is good off lead. Bentley is well behaved in the house, he is house trained, sleeps in the kitchen quietly at night and can be left a few hours if given enough exercise. Bentley needs a lot of attention, exercise, play and love. We strongly recommend the new owner employs a professional trainer who uses Positive, Reward Based training methods. Bentley is being rehomed as a family pet but no young children please, and we are looking for someone who will now give him the commitment of a forever home. He must be housed indoors not outside in a kennel. The garden needs a very high secure fence or he can escape. Bentley will reward his owners with tons of love and affection.

Roman – 9 month old male Rottweiler

Roman is a beautiful, large 9 months old Rottweiler pup. At 41kg he is a very strong, boisterous chap so his owner will need to be very experienced big dog owner. Roman is a very, very affectionate dog but has not been fully socialised with people and dogs so will need training to overcome his nerves with strangers. The foster is walking him with a gentle leader head collar to gain some control whilst out and about on walks. He is also being given basic training using “clicker training” techniques and he is learning very quickly.

He is living in the house with 5 other dogs to enable him to learn dog manners and get used to dogs and this is proving very useful in his education. But he still is nervous meeting new dogs. Roman is good in the house, sleeps quietly at night and can be left for short periods.

We strangely recommend professional training for this dog. We are looking for an active home where he will be a family pet and housed indoors and someone committed to providing him the time, attention and training he needs. This will be an absolutely super dog.

Buddy – 1 year old male Jack Russell Terrier

Buddy is a tiny, very cute, affectionate, rough coat Jack Russell Terrier about a year old. He is a nervous chap who needs to know the rules to give him confidence. He loves people who are calm and quiet and would not do well in a noisy household. Buddy is your best friend, he follows you everywhere.

He is good with dogs although can be nervous at first and a bit snappy until he gets to know them. Buddy needs a confident, experienced dog owner with a lot of time and patience to socialise him and build his confidence otherwise he may become dog aggressive. He will reward with tons of love and loyalty. Due to his nervous nature we would not rehome him with children.

He needs company so no full time workers please. He can be left alone in the house in a crate where he feels safe otherwise he has a tendency to chew and destroy things. He travels well in the car.

Kyeema and Munch – 2 1/2 year old female Cross-Breeds

Kyeema and Munch are both 2 1/2 year old Cross-Breeds and have been together in the same home since 8 weeks old, so we would prefer to rehome these together. Kyeema is very loyal, she will follow you round everywhere, wanting to be loved, even going as far as trying to sleep at the bottom of the bed or sitting next to you on the sofa! She also loves food so wherever there is food she will be there!

She still gets boisterous and jumps up when people come round and has lots of energy so must be walked at least twice a day. Kyeema has good recall if rewarded with treats, she will always come back and is always looking to see where you are. She is good with other dogs but has a tendency to want to play with them. Kyeema is fully housetrained, in good health, she will sit, give paw, walk on a lead but pulls is far better on a halti type harness round the nose. Ok with children but gets a little boisterous and jumps up when people first visit.

Kyeema

Munch is so loving and has a great temperament, her tail is always wagging and always wants love and attention. Munch is addicted to fetching the ball and will do it all day if she could; she hates being brushed or anyone go near her with the nail clippers. Munch still gets very excited when people come round and jump up at them for attention. As with Kyeema she needs to be walked twice a day, but if you take a ball she will chase it and not bother with anything else, but she will run to other people with her ball for them to throw it for her! She is good with other dogs and people. She will come back on recall but doesn’t like having a lead put on, once it’s on she is ok, she does pull on a lead so we use a halti and she is a lot better. Munch is fully housetrained and will sit and give a paw. Munch has had a slipping patella tendon in her leg which has been operated on and now fully in place as she had a pin put in her knee, to some people you would not have a clue as she is constantly running around but will limp slightly when she has done too much.

Munch

Both dogs can be left for up to 5 hours, as long as they have had enough exercise they will just sleep. They both want, and give lots of love. We are looking for an active family home who can give lots of exercise, no full time workers and no young children. These dogs must be housed indoors as family pets.

Bruce – 2 year old male American Bulldog

Bruce is an extremely well bred 2 year old American Bulldog whose father was placed in the top 3 at Crufts several times. Bruce is a stunning dog who has been brought up in a family environment and lived with a 2 year old child since a puppy. He is totally trustworthy with children and other dogs. He can be excitable and boisterous but is very gentle around the child.

He is fairly obedient, has some basic training established but would appreciate more to keep his intelligent mind active. Bruce enjoys having a bath, he has a good appetite, he enjoys going for walks and lying by the fire at night. This splendid dog deserves a really good home where he will get the love and exercise he needs and he will repay that with tremendous loyalty and affection to the very lucky owner who adopts this beautiful example of the breed. Neutered, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms

Max – 2 year old male Staffordshire Bull Terrier

Max is a superb example of a 2 year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier. He is a small dog, only 15 inches, and a very well made, good looking boy. He is exceptionally friendly and a very strong, active little boy who loves his walks and lots of cuddles and kisses. He snuggles up against you whilst you watch TV. Max travels well in the car but is very vocal for the first few miles due to excitement.

He is house trained, well behaved in the house, and can be left alone for short periods. Due to his boisterous enthusiasm he pulls hard at first but settles down especially in a harness. He doesn’t seem bothered by other dogs or people when he is out and about on a walk. Max will need a lot of exercise. Max is quiet at night, sleeping in his basket in the kitchen. Max is being treated for a skin allergy at the moment which is preventing us from getting him vaccinated on veterinary advice until it is cleared up. Neutered, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped.

Robinson Crusoe – 1 year old male Staffordshire Bull Terrier

Curled up for days on a wet mattress in the middle of a field, Robinson Crusoe a 1 year old male Staffordshire Bull Terrier who was on his own island of despair after being thrown out of a car and badly injured – his only crime is being a bull breed. In the freezing weather with snow on the ground, he was abandoned and lonely – he just lay there shivering without the energy to move.

He was desperately thin, his coat in a dreadful state and he was shivering. He did not deserve this….. because despite that appalling treatment by mankind, Robinson Crusoe is the most wonderful, kind, affectionate Staffordshire Bull Terrier. He is a small dog, a young adult about a year old. He is exceptionally well behaved, shows no aggression to people or animals and just loves everyone he meets. He has responded to the kindness of the fosters and blossomed into an extrovert, happy character with a huge personality and tremendous sense of fun.

This little dog will make a wonderful family pet, he needs a home where he will not be left for long periods and where he will get all the love he needs forever to make up for the huge sadness and loss he has suffered in his short life. Are you the person to make the biggest difference to this lovely boy? Could this be your hand stroking him? Have you enough compassion to bring him into your heart forever? Neutered, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped
