Dougal – 5 year old
Dougal is a 5 year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier. He is a lovely lad who just needs a confident handler. Dougal is one of the newest members of the Wolfwood Staffie Gang. Unscrupulous breeders are partly responsible for the large numbers of Staffies in the rescue centres around the country.
The Staffie breed is one of loyalty and fun and in years past was the number one recommended dog for families. Please consider adopting one of ours, ring 07931 220094 for a chat.

Rosie is a 4 month old Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross with bundles of energy. She is a lovely girl who deserves someone who will spend time training and taking her for long walks. She has put a bit of much needed weight on and is thriving. Rosie is probably better with older children as she was so desperately starved, she had to grab for everything. She is better away from erratic behaviour. Make 2012 special for her by giving her a new home.
Ben – 20 month old male Patterdale Terrier
Ben is a 20 month old Patterdale Terrier boy who is back with us!Ben was a young lad when he came to us last year and initially had a number of issues, regarding his relationship with other dogs. He progressed very well with intensive training and spent many months “one to one”. He was eventually homed, but finds himself back with us and looking for a new home.
Bridie – 6 year old female Jack Russell Terrier
Bridie is a 6 year old Jack Russell Terrier. Although initially a bit wary of her change of circumstance, she is a friendly little dog and is currently getting used to sharing a foster home with an energetic pup. Bridie will sit on your knee, if you allow her, and watches TV. She loves to play with a ball and is friendly with children. Like most Terriers, she wants to be Boss and needs encouragement to leave her cage in order to go outside in the cold for a last call.
Emma – 10 week old female Greyhound
Emma is a sweet natured, 10 week old Greyhound puppy came to us in a disgraceful state. She is improving well and growing at a fast rate. She will probably be happier sharing a home with another dog.
Sherlock – 3-4 year old male Staffordshire Bull Terrier
Sherlock is a Staffordshire Bull Terrier aged between 3 and 4 years old. He is an impressive lad, with a lovely personality. His previous owner suffered a stroke and is no longer able to care for him. Sherlock is one of a number of dogs who are looking for a new forever loving home, through no fault of their own.
Tucker – 7 year old male Jack Russell Terrier
Cheerful chappie Tucker is a lovely 7 year old Jack Russell Terrier. Tucker’s previous family had someone who developed an allergy to him, so he would like a new home where he won’t cause a problem. Initially he was a bit nervous, but his social skills are progressing well and he feels ready for the challenge of knocking a new family into shape!
Bella – 10 month old female Whippet cross Patterdale Terrier
Bella is a 10 month old Whippet cross Patterdale Terrier. She is a sociable, lively and lovely girl and one of our festive season casualties. Bella loves being around our other dogs but would very much like a home of her own please. Volunteer dogwalker Gail – “What a little firecracker Bella is. I don’t think she has had any training , and definitely think dog classes would be of benefit to her. I also think once she has done basic training, agility classes would be great for her, and think she’d just love hide and seek games (with toys or treats). She is very bright, very inquisitive and very determined, so will need an outlet for her energy. She gets very excited at meeting adults and children. Older children would be better for her as younger children would just feed her excitement. “

Todd – 12 month old male American Bulldog Cross
Todd is a 12 month old American Bulldog cross, he is a great dog in every sense of the word and very sociable. He obviously needs a fair bit of space to live in and plenty of exercise.
