Jez – 6 1/2 year old male Border Collie
This is Jez, a 6 1/2 year old Border Collie who’s owner has to move out of the house and sell it, so we need to help find him a new home. He hasnt had the best start in life, his last owner lived in a bedsit and was just going to leave him behind when he moved on, luckily his current owners stepped in, but now they need to move and need to find Jez a new home.
He is very laid back and gentle. He has a very unusual coloured coat, he is good on the lead, does not bother other dogs or cats and is okay with kids. He is neutered and he will be vaccinated and microchipped prior to rehoming. He would make a lovely family dog.

This is Tara a lovely Labrador cross aged 2 years old. This dog has the most wonderful nature and has lived with three children under 4 years old and three cats. She’s housetrained, very affectionate and would make a fabulous family pet.
Tara has been suffering from a flea allergy but this has been treated by the vet and she is recovering really well and her skin is much better already.

This is Benson, he Is a 1 year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier who cant wait to find a new home. He is about to be neutered, he is vaccinated and micro chipped already. Poor little Bailey, this young Cross-breed breed dog was an unclaimed stray and thought he landed on his feet when he was taken in by his current family , he is approximately 5 months old. House trained and obedient. Good with children and cats. This dog lives with 3 cats and children under 5 years old. Good on the lead and good with other dogs.
Unfortunately due to a change in family circumstance we need to find Bailey a new home, his current owners still have him but we must find a new home within two weeks or we shall have to find a foster. He needs vaccinating and is too young at the moment for castration but this will need to be done as a condition of adoption if not before.

This is Pippin, he is 1 year old and is a Greyhound cross Irish terrier. He was rescued by his current owner from the pound at 6 months old. He is micro chipped, neutered and vaccinated. He is living with a 9 year old rescued Greyhound and a cat. Pippin can be quite boisterous because he has not had much exercise lately due to illness in the family which is why he is looking for a new home. He has been training him and he will obey most commands but his training needs to continue. He will need plenty of exercise!!!

Oliver is about a 1or 2 year old Greyhound. Really affectionate and very friendly with dogs although we don’t think he’s met too many before so is still learning his ‘doggy manners’.
Possibly used for hunting previously as he’s got nibbled ears and quite a few scars on his belly. He was terribly thin when he arrived but is gaining weight nicely. He’s very clever and quick to learn and will do anything for a treat.

Malcolm is a really very special young 1 or 2 year old Jack Russell Terrier. When he came into our rescue he was starving and scared of the world. It soon became apparent he had been badly beaten and because of this was fear biting. After spending two months with his loving foster family he has become a very confident, affectionate little man.
He will chase his ball forever and just loves to play and loves his cuddles. He is a constant source of amusement and really is a smashing lad. He does have some ‘typical’ Terrier traits and does think he’s much bigger than he really is and does not get on with other dogs so would need to be an only pet. He really is a tremendous chap who’s incredibly affectionate and playful but does carry a little baggage from his past and therefore if he feels threatened may still have abit of a go and that is why he does require a very special family who can love and care for him, faults and all.

Jake is a fabulous Lurcher cross of about 2 years old. He a wonderful, gentle dogs who is great with kids and other dogs. He is wormed, flead, and micrchipped, and will be neutered before rehoming. He will make someone a super family dog.

Stella is about 1 year old and a gorgeous Patterdale Terrier Cross. As you can see from the photos is a very active little dynamo and wouldn’t stay still for the photopgraph. She’s a fantastic dog who was found straying. She is housetrained and fabulous with children and is currently being fostered with a one and half year old and loves her cuddles from him.
We are ideally looking for a home with another active dog or a family who can give this lovely Patterdale terrier cross a lot of time and walks and exercise.
