Axl – 6 month old male Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross Lurcher

Please meet Axl! This little chap is a Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross Lurcher who is only 6 months old and has had a bit of a rubbish start. Axl was bought as a tiny puppy and then spent the next four months living in a bathroom with two cats. He never went out and when he grew too big for the room he was tied up outside the owners flat and left there for someone to take away.

Luckily the person that found him was a Staffie owner and made a point of socialising him with her own dog and taking him out and about as he needed his muscles built up…he had to be carried home from the park at one stage because he was so out of shape. Axl has got a good temperament and is good with other dogs, great with children and obviously good with cats!

The lady who rescued him cannot keep him as she is only allowed one dog at her property. Before leaving rescue he will be castrated, vaccinated and microchipped. Axl will probably be quite a tall dog so someone who is used to bigger dogs will be needed. A homecheck will be carried out and minimum adoption fee applies.
