Axle and Roxy – 5 year old male and female German Shepherd Dogs

Please give a warm welcome to Axle (L) and Roxy (R) who are German Shepherd Dogs. Axle is a black semi-coat German Shepherd Dog and Roxy is a black and tan German Shepherd female, both are 5 years old and came into rescue together through no fault of their own. Roxy has been spayed however at the moment Axle is not neutered. Both are very friendly to everyone they meet and they did live with small dogs. We would suggest however that they could live with a small dog that was calm as the previous little dogs swung off their tails and they didn’t like this! Roxy and Axle have grown up with children in their previous home so will consider homing with children over 7+ years or German Shepherd Dog or large breed savvy children.

When rescued these pair were living outside although it was suggested that the slept indoors in the conservatory when wet and cold? Axle and Roxy love their walks and Axle can be quite pully with initial excitement, Roxy just trots along beside you but both will need work on their recall. We are looking to home these two lovely dogs together as they have lived together all their lives and are quite dependent upon each other ( they have been a breeding pair). They need a home where someone can give them all the time and love they need to be thoroughly spoilt! Axle & Roxy are not cat tested.

If you feel you could offer Rocky and Axle their Forever Home please get in touch and fill out our on-line Adoption Form.
