Bailey – 8 year old female German Shepherd

Beautiful Bailey is an 8 year old sable and black German Shepherd girl who originally came to us in 2016 as there was a new baby in the home, she did not wait long to find a new home but has sadly found herself back with us once again due to the ill health of her owner.

Bailey has been a loyal and faithful companion to her owner who was heartbroken to have to part with her. We are very sad to see her back here and hope that she will not have to wait long to find a new home.

Bailey is a lovely girl, she is very cheeky and full of character. She can open doors and has been known to jump fences in her younger days! Whilst she has not done any of this in her previous home we are looking for a home for her with fencing of at least 6ft+, just as a precaution. She may tolerate some dogs on walks but will need to be the only pet in the home. She does not like cats.

Bailey has been used to visiting children but would benefit from a quiet home with older, sensible children. She has suffered from ear problems for most of her life and is currently receiving medication for this which she may need on/off for the rest of her life. She is very sensitive around her ears and can become upset when the vet examines her or administers ears drops, and will, therefore, need to wear a muzzle. However, this is not a problem for Bailey as she is used to wearing a muzzle.
