Bambi and Moose are 16 week old male and female Cross-Breeds. Adorable little chocolate short coated puppies, one male and one female. They are the most adorable little pups. The little girl (Bambi) is a lovely little thing, very friendly, loves a cuddle and her belly rubbed. The little boy (Moose)is a real character always ready to play. He will already return the ball. Like all healthy puppies, he can’t sit still for a minute. He loves a bit of rough and tumble. Both love to play with toys, especially the little ball they have.
When the volunteers arrived at the Portuguese shelter, they found these two little darlings in a cage, terrified. Happily one of the volunteers was able to take them home. These little delights have been in foster since they were found at the shelter and are already learning to use puppy pads. They will be a delightful addition to any family. We think they will be small/medium size dogs when fully grown. They have not met cats yet but we can introduce them to a cat if needed. They can be homed separately.
Fosterer’s report: Lovely little pups, very happy characters. Both are eating very well and will eat everything put in front of them. They are currently chewing everything in sight!! They get on well with my other dogs. Current location is in a foster home in Spain can travel to the UK once they have a home to go to. Vaccinated, wormed, flea treated, Too young to be neutered but this must be done when they are old enough by the new owners, Microchipped. Pet Passport, FREE 4 weeks Pet Insurance to be activated from the link on our website, Any known health issues NONE KNOWN.
For Dogs coming from Portugal: This adoption fee is a contribution towards the costs of rescuing the dog- microchip, passport, vaccines, tests for S European diseases, neutering (if old enough), parasite treatment and transport to the UK. We can not home dogs from Portugal to people who work full time or long hours, unless some sort of doggy day care is offered. They need someone at home a lot of the day, they are not used to being alone for long periods. A dog walker for an hour out of the day is not enough. Leaving dogs a long time on their own means they are highly likely to develop separation anxiety which is distressing for them and everyone in their new home.
Adoption Fee : £ 295 for each puppy – to be paid direct to the Portuguese rescue to cover travel costs via UK bank account.
