Bandit – 10 month old male Cross-Breed

Bandit is a very handsome, 40 week old male Lurcher. He is fully vaccinated (including rabies), neutered, boy who is medium sized. He started his life on the streets of Romania and was rescued as a puppy and brought over to the UK. Bandit can find meeting new people a scary experience, especially with men. But once he gets to know you he is loving, affectionate and a clown. He doesn’t like to be picked up but he loves back rubs and giving kisses. He is a very active, high energy dog and he loves puzzle toys such as Kongs. He also loves to run so a home with a garden would be preferable. His recall is a work in progress, he has only been tested in an enclosed paddock for recall and does come when called. He likes other dogs to play with and has lived with a cat at his previous home. Bandit would thrive with an active lifestyle and has the potential to be very good at agility.

An experienced home is sought, either with or without another dog. We feel that Bandit might benefit from a home with an older, gentle dog who would be able to teach Bandit some boundaries. We also believe that Bandit would be best in a home without children unless they are over the age of 12 years. He needs kind but firm leadership and someone who will help him to learn. He does pull on the lead so some heel training is needed. We know that Bandit is capable of being a wonderful dog and he just needs someone to commit to him and give him time and guidance.

Could you be that person?
