Barnaby is a 2-3 year old male Beagle cross Brittany Spaniel. This is a darling little chap and his name is Barnaby: he’s part Breton Spaniel with a tan and white smooth, soft coat. Nice lad, used to living in a house as part of a young family, plus he loves other dogs and children and cats ( he has experience of living with with 2 cats and 3 children – youngest 8 years). He loves and allows tummy rubs from the children and likes his fuss.
He is a bit more wary of adults but will take treats from them but be uncomfortable being stroked by strangers until he has had his walk, then he is relaxed enough to allow it. He is very polite and will play bow to all other dogs – he is good at reading their body language and is friendly towards them when out on walks.
Barnaby has not been off lead, but walked with an extendable lead which he is quite confident with and he enjoys that security. Barnaby will really enjoy being in a home with another dog. Good all rounder, other dogs cats and children. He travels well in the car (in a crate).
Foster Report: He is very good with cats, kittens and hamsters as well as any other dogs. He’s eager to say hello to other animals and doesn’t chase. He adores all children, but is nervous of men in dark clothing. Current location is in a foster home in Solihull, West Midlands.
