Barney - 5 year old male Greyhound

Meet Barney a 5 year old Greyhound male who recently landed in our care from a stray pound situation. Such a stunningly handsome dog. The dog warden who brought Barney into our care managed to gather some information on this lads past. He was originally homed to by his trainer and was soon picked up wandering the streets again then taken back home and found again.

Barney has moved to foster where he is residing alongside a Greyhound male, a Greyhound female and two female Labradors all of whom he gets on well with. He has been spotlessly clean and slept downstairs with them all overnight without any problems, tomorrow he will be left without the company of the other dogs to see how he goes.

We have high hopes that Barney will also be happy to be an only dog. Barney is ideal first hound material for someone who has never had a Greyhound before. Out on walks Barney walks well on leash, he has seen squirrels and gotten excitable but has soon settled down and also has had a look at smaller dogs but on the whole ignored them.

Barney is a cheeky lad who loves toys especially squeakies and also loves to play with his humans aswell. He is vaccinated, KC vaccinated, deflead, dewormed, micro-chipped and neutered.
