Bart

Bart is a 3 year old small-medium sized Terrier cross male who weighs 15.7 kg. Bart has received a health check, flead and wormed and 1st Vaccination. He is already micro-chipped. He is in great shape, thankfully not neglected like the others including the Dobermann.

He has come from a home where the animals were badly neglected, some snakes and lizards emaciated and very ill, the Inspector also found that one of the snakes was dead. There will be a prosecution but luckily Bart and his Doberman friend are out of harms way. All animals have been removed and taken to safety.

He is overwhelmed with kennel life, he needed lots of reassurance when I went to see him today, so we need to get him into a nice home asap. We hope to get him into a foster home this week, if the resident dog is accepting of him and he’s okay with the cats!

The Inspector said he was rarely walked but is okay on the lead considering, just needs to get used to it, he is a really friendly and bubbly dog, he has a fantastic temperament and the Inspector says he travels well, he has lived with young children (under two years) and is very good with them.

He has also lived with cats, dogs, parrots and lizards (!) and is fine with all of them. He’s house-trained and seems to know some basic commands. A good all rounder who will provide a lot of fun and joy for his new owner without a doubt.
