Beanie – 4 year old male Lurcher

Beanie is a gorgeous male Lurcher puppy with a black coat and adorable ears. He is approximately 4 months old, though we don’t know his exact age as he was found wandering as a stray in Ireland. We think he could be a full greyhound but he isnt tattooed and it’s possible there’s something else mixed in there, so we’ll call him a lurcher to be safe!

Little Beanie is living in a foster home right now with cats, dogs and children and is settling in with all of them. He is a very sociable young puppy and isn’t phased by larger dogs or noisy children. He is very affectionate and adores being a ‘lapdog’, though this might have to stop when he gets bigger!

This little lad is a typical puppy at the minute, and is in to everything. He is very bright, and very food orientated, so training shouldnt be much hassle. He is already learning the do’s and dont’s of living in a house. He is also walking quite well on a lead now, after just a few training sessions.

Likely due to being a stray and having to fend for himself, Beanie can get anxious and growly at feeding time if he feels another dog is going to steal his food. This is being worked on in his foster home, and after just two weeks he is already sharing food much better.

Beanie needs a family where someone is at home most of the time whilst he is still very young. Adopters will also have to agree to neutering Beanie once he is old enough. He is currently being fostered in Norfolk, England and can be transported throughout the country if a suitable home offer comes up. This little bundle of fun would make a smashing addition to an existing pack.
