Beatrice is a 4 year old female Bichon Frise. Bea is a scared little girl who has been used for breeding and knows nothing of life in the home. She is doing well in foster but will need new owners who are around for most of the day and at least one other resident dog who is confident and friendly that Bea can take direction and gain confidence from. As she is so very nervous older teenagers only please no small children. A quieter home where she can adjust at her own pace would be best for this little lady.
As of yet Bea has not managed a walk on a lead, she is currently taken for outings in her dog pushchair to help her get used to sights and sounds outside of the home. She will progress but at her own pace with lots of reassurance.
Bea is improving but will need understanding new owners with the time and patience to let her learn to trust them and take her forwards into a brighter future. Her foster mum said “she is a quiet little soul but was caught chewing on a dead squeaky toy yesterday so lots of potential hiding inside her.”
She has been neutered, vaccinated and micro chipped, Bea has also had a couple of mammary lumps removed and a full dental. She is up to date with flea and worming treatment. Bea is currently being fostered in Burnham Berkshire, SL1.
