Bee is a 3 year old male Brittany Spaniel. Bee has just arrived in the UK (from Spain) to foster with a lovely family and their own Brittany. He is a handsome mid-sized Brittany and his foster mum says he is beautiful inside and out. He is playful with other dogs but not pushy, he is gentle and loves human attention. He gets on with all dogs and humans, being cautious at first, but brave enough to enjoy socialising with both other dogs and humans.
In the house Bee is well behaved, so far not chewing anything and not snatching food or being overly possessive. Bee has got a few anxieties to work through, particularly around entering the house, going through doorways and going up stairs. These are no doubt related to his earlier life, where maybe he was not allowed inside. Quite often he will stand outside an open door and woof because he is too nervous to come in and he will then need to be coaxed through. This nervous behaviour should soon reduce with love, patience and understanding in his new home.
Bee is walking well on the lead, although it is early days and he may try to pull as he gains confidence. He seems to have the normal excited reaction to rabbits and pigeons as one might expect in a gundog, but not to any extreme level. He is a fabulous, young dog and deserves a great home, he would probably enjoy the company of other dogs.
