Bella medium size Cross-Breed approx 10/12 months being fostered in Gloucestershire. Lovely Princess Bella has a sad story for a dog so young, she was on the streets of Spain until very recently living in the ground of an old caravan running around the streets, completed mattered, crawling in fleas and in season so being chased by big dogs poor girl was terrified and in a terrible way – she was lucky enough to find sanctuary and love with Aunty Violet who runs a rescue we work closely with in Spain. She has had her coat cut short because of the state she was in so will be a shaggy type of dog.
We know this little girl is beautiful and will attract a lot of attention but please read her profile she may look a cute fluff ball but there is more to this little girl. She is living in a family home with two big dogs, two cats and two teenagers. Bella loves everyone, she is a very affectionate loving dog, she kisses the cats, the dogs, us – she has been completed clean in the house and never had an accident, she sleeps in the kitchen at night with the other two dogs with no problems.
Bella seems to love the car and readily jumps in, she adores her runs over the fields and loves chasing the ball with the boys and bringing it back, this girl runs like the wind and is a very active girl, she can beat my young lab easily chasing the ball and she now retrieves it back, she has now learnt to sit and knows the command wait.
She had not received any training before she came to us and did not really know how to walk on the lead but she picks things up extremely quickly, she has a brilliant recall and although runs around will always look to see where you are. She is extremely food motivated so easy to train.
Bella has a lovely nature with no malice in her at all, she can be a bit unsure at times and very submissive even with the cats if they tell her off for kissing them. She needs an active home, somewhere in the country where she can go for long country walks I think she would go for miles, not a full time working home either she would hate that, another dog for her to play with would be good but it has to be a gentle dog like her not dominant as she would be scared.
This dog has enormous potential everything is there, I think she would be brilliant for flyball, agility etc for fun – she needs a special home for a special dog. If you want a dog to be the centre of your world then Bella is that dog she has a big heart. She is dog, child and cat friendly, she is so lovely.
Bella has been spayed, fully vaccinated, blood tested and has a passport.
