Benji and Chad – 2 and 10 year old male Terrier Crosses
Benji and Chad are two little Terrier Crosses ared 2 and 10 who came into rescue after their owner died and they had nowhere to go. They have lived together for a couple of years and to see them go to a home together would be lovely, although they could be split if necessary.
Benji is a Border Terrier cross Chihuahua of about 2 years old. He has a nervous nature, but not aggressive. Just unsure of strangers and new situations, but fine once he settles. He is fine with other dogs and cats.
Chad is a 10 year old Yorkshire Terrier cross who suffers from a rare form of Cushing’s Disease. This means that he will need medication for the rest of his life. Just one pill a day to keep his problem under control, but I am hoping this does not stop getting him the forever home he deserves. At present he is bald and has to wear a jumper because his previous owner did not treat his condition, but hopefully a lot of his hair will grow back once he is on consistant medication. He is more confident than Benji, but still needs time to settle in a new environment. Once again, he is fine with other dogs and cats.
These dogs can only be homed with children over 12 years old. Both dogs will be neutered, fully vaccinated and microchipped before they leave here.
