Benny - 6 year old male Greyhound

Beautiful Benny what can we say but wow! Benny is a 6 year old Greyhound boy who recently made his way into our care when his trainer had to move into accomodation that didnt allow him to house his dog. Benny is a beautiful, quite gentle gentleman of a hound and is totally undemanding.

Benny is currently in foster with a female Greyhound and a male Lurcher both of whom he gets on well with even when the male Lurcher at first took exception to having an interloper and did a little growling Benny totally ignored it and went about his merry way.

Benny so far has been good with all dogs he meets out on walks he can be a little whiney to say hello to other dogs but there is no malice and he walks away after saying hello. He is NOT though cat or small animal friendly and will even chase birds in the garden.

Benny is now house-trained although he did have a few accidents to being with and you will need to keep on top of him during a settling in period. He has been left for a few hours with the company of other dogs and has been left for short periods of time totally alone both of which he is fine with but we feel that he would possibly be happier either with a companion or with someone who was home all of the time. Benny travels well and settles in the car and there isnt much you can fault.
