Benson is a brindle and white male Staffordshire Bull Terrier. He came to us as a result of his owners change of circumstance. Benson is approximately 16 weeks old and is a typical cheeky puppy. He is currently being fostered in Medway with three other dogs of various sizes and two children.
His foster mum says:
Benson idolizes our young Staffordshire Bull Terrier and has spent hours playing with her, so a home with a young lively dog who will tolerate a lot of bouncy puppy play would be ideal. He loves people and smoothers adults and children alike with Staffordshire Bull Terrier snogs in exchange for cuddles. He isn’t house trained at present, but we are working hard on that and he already knows that when I take him in the garden, he is expected to go toilet and readily obliges.
He loves to curl up on the sofa for cuddles, but he can also be a naughty pup, stealing shoes and socks left lying around! I’m not sure how much Benson was left alone in his previous home as he does whine a lot at first when left, but this could be as a result of the upheaval. We are teaching Benson basic commands and he is doing well so far, but his new family must be prepared to continue to train him and to socialize him with other dogs and humans. Benson has not had his final jabs yet and has zero recall.
Benson is a super cute little boy who will make a fantastic family pet. Benson will only be rehomed where there is a resident dog for companionship and play. He will not be rehomed as an only dog. Benson must be neutered once old enough as part of his adoption agreement by his new owner. He has been vaccinated, wormed, de flead and microchipped.
