Bertie – 3 month old male Cross-Breed

Beautiful Bertie is a chocolate coloured Cross-Breed with a lush rough coat, he will be a medium sized boy when fully grown – (approximately 15-16kgs). Despite his bad start in life, Bertie is a lovely friendly little guy who will make someone a lovely family pet. He is affectionate and cheeky with bags of personality and he loves playing with other dogs. He is young enough to train, socialise and introduce to children and cats. It is difficult to tell how big the brothers will be but we think Bertie will be a tad bigger than his brother. Like all pups the refuge is not ideal, they need far more TLC and attention than we can give them but he is safe and warm and this is the main thing.

Bertie was found dumped in a waste bin with another little pup who is his brother who we have called Fergus. What a horrible thing to do to two pups of only 2 weeks old. Someone heard their cries and rescued them which saved their lives as we know they would not of survived much longer. We can test for children and cats.

Current location is in Spain can travel to the UK once he has a home to go to. Vaccinated, wormed, flea treated, too young to be neutered but this must be done when they are old enough by the new owners, microchipped. Pet Passport: FREE 4 weeks Pet Insurance- owners to go on our website and activate this, any known health issues NONE known.

For Dogs coming from Spain and Portugal: This adoption fee is a contribution towards the costs of rescuing the dog- microchip, passport, vaccines, tests for S European diseases, neutering (if old enough), parasite treatment and transport to the UK.

We can not home dogs from Spain or Portugal to people who work, even part time. They need someone at home all day, they are not used to being alone, so even a couple of hours broken with a dog walker will be too much for them to cope with. They are highly likely to develop separation anxiety which is distressing for them and everyone in their new home.

Adoption Fee : £ 295 – to be paid direct to the Spanish rescue to cover travel costs via UK bank account
